Ellie Drawing!!! Final + Process (Patreon)

Hello every1. This is my Ellie drawing big HQ up close and personal. I love that u can now see the the clothes up close! I was first using the same brush on the clothes that I was on the face but it was too dang smooth and looked weird. I still don’t think I am too good at drawing folds it is so hard?? But it is definitely better once I started using a scratchier brush!! You can see it a lot on the right part of the hood. The inside material of the hoodie is way more textured too so I also added some loopy loops on that part to show the “pile” of the fabric if you will. I spent lots of time and effort on this drawing I did NOT take any shortcuts…

Also.. I remembered that I used to use a paper texture a lot in my older drawings and for some reason I stopped! So now I am using them on this because it is gritty and makes sense. I use paper textures from True Grit Texture Supply. They have nice stuff.

It kind of bothers me that I didn’t draw her accurate knife idk what I was thinking this was like a placeholder I established in the sketching phase. I guess I never went and actually looked it up. But you know its not terrible…
