What the EFF is up gaymers!

Here is my final drawing finally sorry for posting so late I have essentially a new computer that I had to reconfigure. I like to type my patreon posts from a desktop it just hits different. People claim that a tablet can do anything a computer can but to me it just feels jank. Even a laptop that is a mac feels jank to me.

Anyways. I will discuss the process of this drawing now! It all started with me first of all finishing the game. I wanted to draw the demon dragon so massive and beautiful and huge and evil compared to tiny little light dragon and even tinier small feeble link. It is crazy to know that link is actually even smaller than he is in this photo. The demon dragon was not this big though.. But this is cooler this way.

It truly began though with this humble sketch that I did on MS paint with my mouse. I used it to just get the shape and composition of them down.

Then I was like that will do just fine. Then I brought it into Fresco and cropped it a bit. I worked diligently off reference to sketch it out and then made the different areas super clean shapes that helped me map out exactly where everything was going to go. (Even still, much changed from this stage to the lineart stage... the entire head and many arms lol)

Then I tried to do an inky moment but it was just kinda not valid to me. I just simply don't really enjoy drawing a dragon mouth agape at a 3/4 angle its so gross. And also his front two arms were being ornery. Too tucked away and getting lost in his belly.

So then I changed his head to be less screamy and more angled down and moved the arms a bit. In the next two photos you can see the rough shape beneath and beginning the lineart.

Then I eventually finished the lineart and just needed to figure out what colors I wanted everything to be.

I don't even need you to say it, this is so crazy ugly. I brought it into Procreate and messed with gradient masks and this and that and ultimately decided that I wanted a red (evil) background and a dark demon dragon and a light ..light dragon. As you do!

I really wanted to make the contrast for the coloring to be super low, just different enough that you could differentiate the different parts of the dragon from each other. So ya.

Here is the final so you don't have to scroll back up:

But up there is a NEVER BEFORE SEEN version where the lineart can shine... I implore you to look!
