Anatomy and Birds - Process(ish) and Final (Patreon)

What's up patrons sorry this is so delayed!

Here is my anatomy girl drawing. The idea came to me in a dream. Or somehow many months ago in a notes app sketch. In november specifically. Here is that sketch:

It was originally just going to be someone shedding their skin and they'd have a skeleton underneath OR SOMETHING idk it was a long time ago. But I was inspired in postmortem by academic anatomical drawings. Here is a glimpse of my pinterest references.

Anyways so I have included a few images of rough stages throughout the process. I had to decide if I wanted it to be just a skeleton, skeleton and organs, musculature, yadda yadda. So I went on the 'terest and decided that I am simply going to include what I like to look at. A face with just musculature is epic so to speak. But musculature on the body is FOUL. I love to draw a rib cage so the skeleton needed to be present and I also like the heart and intestines and lungs so that's what I did there. I also really like drawings of just the nervous system so that is something I included, but it is also like veins. Could be either.

I also drew the continuation of those "veins" on the outside of the skin. I didn't like rendering her skin. Not sure.. of the thought process. I thought it needed more contrast than what I had in the sketches but I'm not that sure anymore.

LASTLY, I wanted something around her, perhaps it was even necessary. And I'm drawing birds these days so I drew some birds. They are just cool but also they have their heads as skulls and have little guts spillin out. I DON'T REALLY LIKE MY BIRDS TBH THEY WERE DONE IN HASTE.

I enjoy the drops of blood SQUIRTING out of the heart and the mouse the bird is holding.
