"Not that I don't appreciate the attention but maybe we should focus on the big picture here?" I asked awkwardly. "Avril? Clara? We might still be in danger right?"

The druid had her tall gorgeous body pressed up against my left side, while the strong sexy and even taller ranger was on my right.

I hadn't realized just how tall Clara was until she was standing right next to me, but the raven-haired ranger had to be almost as tall as Roderick was. She looked about the same age as the Druid, maybe nineteen or twenty. Her chestnut brown hair was cut in a short messy care-free style, and the way she was looking at me with her bright green eyes could only be described as hungry.

And granted a couple hours earlier I'd have given almost anything to be sandwiched between two beautiful young women. But then a couple hours earlier I wasn't a very small and very busty foxgirl.

Yes small.

After Mr. Asshole was dead and my head cleared up I figured out why a guy who'd been fifteen centimetres shorter than my original body suddenly seemed well over thirty centimetres taller than me when I was a foxgirl. It had nothing to do with me being head over heels in love with the jerk, and everything to do with the fact that when he turned me into a foxgirl he made me tiny.

I wasn't sure yet exactly how small I was, and I really hadn't had a chance to try and unpack and process how I felt about that yet. Let alone try and deal with the fact that I now had a tail, or that I was suddenly a girl. All because there a few even more important things on my mind.

Such as the mass of burnt eldrich horror that was decomposing a few meters away from where the three of us were standing.

"Seriously girls," I started to say, but my words were cut off as they both leaned in and took turns kissing me, while they continued to press and rub themselves against me from either side.

And once again I couldn't help thinking how differently I might have been acting if I had two gorgeous girls doing that back before I ran into Roderick and his foxgirlification magic. Instead I was torn between feeling awkward and feeling aroused. Torn as in, my body was absolutely responding to all the attention while my brain was way too busy with other stuff to deal with that.

"Please stop!" I finally stated, once there were no other tongues in my mouth but my own. I tried to make it sound forceful like I was taking charge, but it actually came out kind of whiney and pleading. Which was yet another thing I had mixed feelings about, that I'd probably have to deal with later.

For now I did my best to focus as I asked them, "Please? We need to deal with this! Do you two know if there's other demons around? Are we about to be torn apart by a hoard of the Demon Queen's angry subjects?"

They both pouted when they stopped kissing me, but Clara answered "According to Roderick, once the queen was defeated her minions would retreat. And he got most of his information about that stuff from the Gods, so it's probably correct."

"Ok that's good news," I responded, with relief obvious in my voice. "So next thing, maybe we should pack up and get out of here? I remember hearing someone mention civilization a while back? I think we should go there, it sounds like a nice place."

Avril warned, "Even if demons are no longer a threat, there's still the risk of running into other dangers in the forest. It's not safe to travel at night, and it's going to be dark before long."

"I don't want to camp next to that, it stinks," I grimaced as I looked at the scorched blob of monster goo. Then I turned and gestured at the packs and bedrolls, "And its acid snot destroyed half our camp."

"I can use a cleansing spell to purge the meadow and our belongings of the demonic residue," Avril suggested.

She followed through a moment later, letting go of me to cast her spell. It was kind of amazing, to be honest.

A circle of sparkling gold light expanded outwards from the gorgeous druid and swept across the entire meadow. In its wake all the slime and goop was gone, the grass was restored everywhere it had been damaged, and lots of pretty little flowers popped up and bloomed.

Unfortunately while Avril's spell cleaned the packs and bedrolls and stuff, it didn't repair them. One of the bedrolls and one pack had been completely destroyed by the demon's acid. Our half-eaten dinner was ruined as well, along with two of the wooden bowls. Our little campfire was still burning, although only just. The supply of firewood had been scattered about though, and some of it was also lost to the acid.

"We'll need to gather more firewood," Clara stated. She sounded like she knew what she was doing as she continued, "We'll want to have enough so that we can keep the campfire burning through the night. As for sleeping arrangements, I suppose one of us will have to share her bedroll with Fiona."

Avril smiled, "Nonsense. We'll move the two bedrolls together, that way all three of us can share and nobody gets left out."

I glanced back and forth between the two of them, then decided to focus on the first thing and ignore the second for now. "More firewood sounds good. Let's do that now, since you said we don't have a lot of daylight left?"

My companions agreed, and the three of us all set out from the meadow to start hunting up more firewood together. I didn't actually know the first thing about camping or campfires, I was a city kid from start to finish. I kept an eye on what Clara and Avril were doing though, and just copied them.

It didn't take long to get the hang of it, I soon realized they were looking for dry dead wood. They preferred branches that weren't laying directly on the ground, because the stuff on the ground tended to have moisture in it. Some of it was even rotted. So the damp or spongy stuff we left behind, while the hard dry stuff was collected.

I'd only picked up about a dozen branches before I was struggling to carry it. I turned back for the meadow while the other two girls collected more without me. Then as I watched Clara return with more than double the amount of wood I'd been able to carry another thing hit me. My small size meant I was probably a lot weaker than I used to be.

Once again I was left with a bunch of complicated feelings, but I pushed them away with all the other stuff I needed to process later on. Instead I went out to the woods and picked up up another dozen branches, since it was a productive way of distracting myself from the difficult topics.

Another thing I was going to have to get used to was having two weighty orbs stuck to my chest. Especially the way they moved and jiggled as I walked around, and how they got in the way when I was bent over trying to gather more wood. I definitely wasn't used to how sensitive they were either, but I learned very quickly that I needed to be careful with them. Especially while I was handling potentially pointy things like broken twigs and branches.

After what felt like thirty for forty minutes Clara determined that we had enough firewood. Then Avril sat down on one of the bedrolls and started to inventory what possessions had survived the demon's acid, while the ranger started carefully searching around the area where the monstrosity died.

At first I wasn't sure what she was looking for exactly, until I saw her pick up one of her spent arrows. She found some more as she kept searching, but most of them were broken. In the end she'd only recovered seven intact shafts, out of the two dozen or more she'd used fighting the queen. The arrows were returned to her quiver and placed next to her bow alongside one of the bedrolls.

I continued to quietly watch them both, and I couldn't help feeling relieved that whatever came over them earlier seemed to have faded away. Like maybe focusing on our survival snapped them out of whatever I'd accidentally done when I touched those tattoos on my wrist. Or maybe it was time limited and wore off on its own, I really had no idea how any of this stuff worked.

As I watched them both I started to feel kind of useless, until I noticed our fire was just barely clinging to life. So I carefully kneeled down on the ground next to it then put a few more bits of wood on it to make sure it didn't go out.

"We lost about half the food," Avril finally announced, "And most of our spare clothes. We've got two packs, two bedrolls, and enough food to last the three of us four more days. The good news is we didn't lose any of the treasure, so we can easily afford more supplies and gear when we reach the nearest village."

I looked up at her in surprise, "Treasure?"

She nodded, "From our last few encounters. A few dozen gemstones, a hundred and twenty-seven platinum coins, ninety-four gold coins, and a couple handfuls of silvers and coppers."

It sounded like a fortune to me, or at least it would have been a fortune back home. I had no idea what it was worth here, like if a gold coin was a dollar, a hundred dollars, or a thousand dollars. I briefly considered mentioning that I was clueless about this world, but decided to keep that to myself for now, just in case.

Instead I asked, "So how far away are we from a town or village?"

"About three days," Clara answered. "We'll get up at sunrise and head north-west. That'll bring us to a trail, then we just have to follow it north."

I nodded slowly, "Ok. And um, after that? Where are we going once we've got more supplies and gear?"

"Or um," I hesitated as I looked at the two of them, "I guess I should ask first, if it's ok that I stick with you two?"

Avril smiled, "Of course it's ok, you're one of us now! You're our girlfriend, we're all part of the same team."

"It's true," Clara nodded in agreement. "Roderick added you to the team before he died. And you're the one who actually killed the Demon Queen. That makes you a hero Fiona."

I had a bunch more conflicted and confusing feelings about almost all of those things, but once again I wasn't ready to confront them yet. Instead I kind of ignored the rest while I focused on the thing that I'd been most worried about.

"Thank you both for letting me stay with you," I responded with a nervous smile.

"Of course cutie," Avril gave me another smile, then she moved to sit right next to me, so she could wrap an arm around my shoulders. "Everything I said before is still true now. Clara and I will look after you, we'll protect you and train you."

Clara moved so she was sitting close against my left side, although she didn't go so far as to put an arm around me yet. She agreed with the druid though, "Avril's right. We'll look after you, train you, and keep you safe."

My tail immediately started wagging back and forth behind me again, but my cheeks went red. I couldn't help feeling awkward and there were a hundred things I still needed to process and unpack about the entire situation.

After struggling to regain my composure I looked back and forth from Avril to Clara, then asked the ranger "An hour ago you didn't like me, didn't trust me. Why are you being so nice to me now?"

"An hour ago you were a stranger who tried to hurt my 'beloved Roderick'," she replied, although she paused at that point to roll her eyes. "After he added you to his harem I saw you as competition, since it meant I'd have to share him with you as well as with Avril."

"Then that doofus screwed up and got himself in deep trouble," she continued. "You took over and killed the Demon Queen, and at the same time you killed him too. Killing the queen makes you a hero in the eyes of the Gods. Killing Roderick made you a hero to me, since you freed me from his stupid harem nonsense."

The ranger ended her answer with a shrug, "Basically I was only cross with you in the first place because of that asshole's magic. You saved the world from the demons and you saved me from him. So yeah, you're a hero."

By the time she was finished my cheeks felt like they were on fire. I slowly turned to look at Avril and asked her, "Do you feel the same? Um, about being freed from him?"

The gorgeous blonde gave me a smile, "You are definitely my hero, cutie. And I'm ready and willing to give you the first of many rewards, whenever you like."

To punctuate that she leaned closer and planted a kiss on my cheek, right next to my lips. At the same time her other hand found its way to my knee.

My heart skipped a beat and I gulped, "But um... Are you even attracted to me? Like um, both of you were with him before, aren't you into guys or something?"

"I'm very attracted to you Fiona," Avril replied with a wide smile. "I've never worried too much if someone's a guy or a girl, or somewhere in between, both or neither. Cute girls and strong guys, strong girls and cute guys, I love them all."

Clara commented, "I'm a little more picky than Avril. I'm only interested in women, some more than others."

After a moment she flashed me a grin and added, "And you're very much my type, Fiona. I think I'm going to enjoy getting to know you better."

I gulped once more. I still wasn't sure how I felt about all this stuff, I definitely wasn't sure I was ready for any of this. Meanwhile my rebellious tail wagged back and forth in happy anticipation.

Then Avril suddenly leaned closer to deliver another kiss, but this one was right on my lips. At the same time, her hand that had been resting on my knee stroked upwards along my thigh and under the small skirt I was wearing.

A sound escaped my lips that began as a startled squeak but ended as a soft soprano moan, while my heart-rate and my wagging tail both picked up the pace. My body was definitely ready for whatever came next, but I was still a little hesitant.

"I don't know if I'm ready for this yet," I mumbled as I pulled back. "I haven't even had time to get used to this body? I've literally only been a girl for a couple hours. And I'm not even human anymore, I haven't had a chance to get used to having a tail and stuff either!"

The gorgeous druid leaned closer and kissed me again, while her hand gently stroked up and down my exposed thigh. She half whispered, "I can help you get to know your new body better Fiona. Both Clara and I can. If you'll let us."

"She's right you know," the tall strong ranger whispered in my ear, causing me to startle slightly. I hadn't noticed her moving closer, while my attention was on Avril.

Clara continued softly, "When Roderick used his power to give me this body, both he and Alaris helped me get used to it in a hurry. Avril and I can do the same for you, if you'll let us?"

I glanced down as Clara placed her left hand on my other knee. Then I gasped as I felt the fingers of her right hand gently stroke the fur on my tail. That was an entirely new sensation, which left me with an entirely new set of confusing thoughts and feelings.

Then Avril's arm moved away from my shoulders, and a moment later she started scritching my ears and petting my head. Just like that I was melting while my brain started to go empty.

I had a tall strong beautiful ranger on my left, with one hand on my knee and the other stroking my tail. And on the right was a gorgeous druid caressing my thigh and giving me pets and ear scritches. And in between them was a confused melty foxgirl struggling to remember how words worked.

"What do you think Fiona?" Avril whispered after another minute or two. "Shall we help you get familiar with your new body?"

I was still kind of lost in all the different sensations, but I mumbled something along the lines of "Yes please."

Clara and Avril both took gentle hold of me and easily pulled me with them back onto the bedrolls, where they carefully relieved me of my flimsy clothing. Part of my brain was still full of doubts and insecurities, part of me wanted to tell them to stop. But the rest of me absolutely wanted them to keep going.

And it quickly became clear that between the tall strong beautiful ranger and the gorgeous eager druid, if they really wanted to have their way with me there was very little I could do to stop them. I was too small and too weak to put up much of a fight.

And maybe tomorrow I'd find the courage to ask myself why that turned me on so much.

It probably doesn't matter anymore but I am kinda wondering if Roderick has an interesting talk with Natasha in the meantime. 😅

lol we were thinking the same thing... Natasha: turns out there's an opening for a burger flipper... Roderick: ah that must be some sort of obscure military title. overthrowing the bourgeoisie by ursurping the wealthy Burghers in charge? as a heroic swordsman and spell-master i accept! i shall be renown throughout the land as the best Burgher flipper! Natasha: awesome, have fun! ^^

Happy for Fiona. I’m a little worried about possible magic mind manipulation, and that maybe that demon she fried wasn’t the Queen. But I’m glad she’s now able to be herself, even if she’s got sone acclimating to do.
