Redraw of sketch #44 // Rey's happy place (Patreon)

Hey guys!

Getting slowly back into work. As I already told my lovely Pandamoniums - I want to redraw some of the daily sketches I done a few years back. I believe some of them truly deserve it and maybe will even get colored!

I started with this one - suggested by Voidsung.

The difference between these two is 3-4 years of almost daily drawing... With these redraws I'm gonna try and list the things I am happy with on the redraw, to give a little positivity boost for myself :D For clarification, in case it's not easily visible - the first one is the old art from 2021!

I'm limiting myself to around an hour of for for these sketches and I will focus on anatomy, posing and getting the message across over trying to render/shade etc.

For this one

• I really like that the pose feels more organic and natural. The previous one was stiff af

• I like Rey's face so much better, she looks like herself here

• More interesting leg positioning

• Improved and more personalized backpack haha

• Made her draw with the correct hand... (she is right handed)

• Snow White vibes with the birds!!! I have lately become a sucker for the Disney classics (except for Lion King. fuck Lion King. also fuck Tale Spin whatever that is about xD)
