While there are many deep problems in the game, it's amazing how many little wrinkles - the "SHARTs" or the terrible "Parkour?" could have been made tolerable with a little bit of playtesting and editing. If the game had a blinking arrow or the word "go" like an old arcade beat em up and some simple edits to the ability to climb and jump it would be playable, if still dumb. An fan game not worthy of hate. (Ignoring the drama around the development of the game).

Funny enough, this isn't the first time I heard of a somewhat infamous lower-budget game getting an update several years later. Apparently there's also one on the way for YIIK: A Postmodern RPG which was known for some REALLY Bizarre design and story decisions among other things. I might've suggested that game a while back, but am reconsidering now as it has a better chance at improvement than Hunt Down the Freeman.
