Aelis

I saw some people say that they were upset Alastor was a fraud who got handed his power. I kind of understand that point, but I feel as though he did technically earn his power if he did take extra steps in life no one else researched to ensure he had power after death.

Remember the wording, Alastor is the strongest “SINNER” Sinners are one of the types of beings in hell not all.

From a writing standpoint, you need things get worst for charlie so she can rise and have a redemption arc later, I totally get it. But she is difficult to watch this season.

Theres something definitely going on with Rosie. Overlords get their power from deals/owning souls, so with cannibal town having a somewhat big population she probably is strong from that. It makes me wonder with her owning Alastor, if she gets power from deals he makes too. Thats something that probably wont ever be answered but makes me curious. I do remember from last season all the cannibals wanted to eat angels so maybe she is just accumulating power "in the shadows" Another theory online is that she isnt an overlord at all but something else entirely.

I can see that, but in season 1 they were pretty clear that Alistar was answering to someone and they were holding his chains, so him not as powerful as perhaps season 1 implied isn’t entirely surprising. I enjoy that this has given us an answering while promoting a lot more questions. And I enjoy knowing more about Alistar, though Ken is also right that losing a bit of his mystery feels like a loss for us as the audience.

Yea, but we still dont know what Alastor's part of the bargain is yet.

This season really does showcase that not only is Charlie the Princess of Hell, but also the Princess of Pride. She's pretty much blinded by her pride in the hotel in much the same way as the Vees (mostly Vox) are. And power level wise Overlords rank below the Morningstars (Lucifer, Lilith, and Charlie), the Archangels, the Seven Deadly Sins, and the Ars Goetia since Overlords are just powerful versions of Sinners which are mortal souls. Just to help you keep track here are the confirmed Overlords as of the last episode reaction you released at the time of me posting this (Season 2, Episode 5). There are most likely ones that I am missing that have been shown so far but these are the ones that I caught the names of: - Alastor - Rosie - Husk (formerly due to selling his soul to Alastor as he mentioned in Season 1) - Carmila Carmine - Zestial (spider looking demon that talks in old English) - Zeezi (giant green haired demon, featured in the meeting scene in Carmilla's office in Season 1 and in the song Bad With Us) - Prick (featured in the song Bad With Us) - Hatchet (featured in the song Bad With Us) - Maestro (featured in the song Bad With Us) - Vox - Valentino - Velvette
