Whoah, I've been waiting on this! They weren't kidding when they announced this season has some different material from the original game: I'm super psyched to see how all of the new stuff gets developed into the stuff from the campaign!

E3: Yeah, I hate too when matron gods don’t finish their sentences… Whoa, great unexpected “MF” drop there! In fact, this episode has multiple great F-bomb drops lol! Love that Keyleth emphasizes in her speech the power of the people, rather than her always “speaking for them” despite her position. Did Taryon actually get Percy’s full name right? This guy seems like a joke so much of the time, but that’s still kind of impressive! Damn, but every good party we have, some douchebag villain group ALWAYS has to crash it and ruin the fun. “The Tempest has spoken.” It’s great to see Keyleth embracing her position, because we know how difficult she’s had to work to develop her self-confidence. Taryon ridiing around on the back on his noble robot servant, rofl! And look, there’s the relics! Finally! Maybe I missed a reference, but I guess it was just to keep them safe and out of bad hands? “We are not harming you, we are helping.” Bethany gave a good reminder that the cult leaders themselves have been blinded so that they can “see more clearly,” so maybe from their perspective gouging out people’s eyes is an attempt to bring them into enlightenment. It also sounds like these people are very aware of the Matron of Ravens and see her as a threat to their plans. So someone mentioned Sam Reigel’s health concerns with your last drop and how he had been scheduled to voice Taryon until he got sick. I wonder if that’s because Scanlan was going to be absent for awhile, so that was the way to keep Sam in the show during Scanlan’s absence…

E4: Cracks me up at multiple people now being able to rattle off Percy’s full name. I was gonna say, “Oh my, another one,” when we met Taryon’s dad – but it turns out that relationship is a bit… cold. Plus, his dad’s obviously cut from a different cloth. (“… customary nine course meal.” Yeah. Okay.) While Umbrasyl was a villain who caused a lot of harm and deserved its fate, it was still kind of sad to just see that head slapped up on the wall there, reducing all the bad things that happened to a status symbol just so this loser (who had nothing to do in defeating it) could feel proud of his money. Wow that whole impromptu pregnancy schtick – and they’re really just going all out on the language this season, lol! “I’ve never felt so supported in my life!” Poor Taryon – that’s such a sad line in so many ways. Grog got a 1 on his Dex roll to cover up those mirrors. Heheheheh, a Deck of Many Things. Oh this looks fun! (NOT) That unicorn looked promising for a moment, lol (until the toothy smile)!! I’m not really worried about Vox Machina having problems dealing with a bunch of miners with swords, considering what they’ve been through. The big guy, OTOH… And the sound of that unicorn horn revving up, lol! Nice quote initiating Taryon to Vox Machina -- we all knew that line was coming. I don't really know where that Pike flashback is going, but it sounds big...

Yep. And the fact that Taryon turned out so hopeful and upbeat is great. Sure he is a lot and obsessed with his fantasy of what life is or perhaps could/should be. But that is a lot better than going the other way of being bitter and angry and resentful at the world which is probably the easier path to walk when dealing with that kind of cruelty from parents 😢

That's cool that some things got switched up from the campaign so those that followed it are now in for some surprises like the rest of us 😀

This show is great at dropping F bombs. They use it for particular emphasis and while they aren't shy in using it, they don't use it all the time because then it starts to lose its effectiveness 😛
