I love Reigen dearly. But I always think about how I’d call the police if I met a real 30 year old man who owned an exorcism business and spent the night hiking with a bunch of 8th graders looking for aliens.

Tome ended up tying with Serizawa as my third favorite character because of how her struggle to find kindred spirits relating to her passions resonated with me. For me, my enthusiasm for entertainment that I've come to make a habit of expressing in this community is what telepathy is to Tome. While stuff like video games, anime, etc. had become much more accepted during the times in which I was growing up, finding people who had a greater enthusiasm for such things was still pretty difficult. The type of people that would be more than welcome to talk about shows and movies at length beyond saying "oh yeah this and that was cool" or expressing interest in games that weren't super casual type stuff. As such, I never really had a means of being able to apply my love for this kind of stuff to anything besides continuously researching/watching videos just to enrich my personal curiosity. Growing up with the Internet, I had always been pretty adverse to getting too involved with people online, especially when it comes to fan community type places. I had seen just how vitriolic they can get, and had a strong understanding that you should be careful with who you start associating with, especially if you're on the younger side. So I never really had the willingness to act as a member of any online space when it came to entertainment. That was, until I just happened to find my way "here" a few years back. I had been following ya'll (K&B) for about a year or so before becoming a patron. As a huge Dragon Ball fan, I started making my way in with the DBS journey, and one thing just pretty much led to another. While I don't know if I would consider this place to serve as a "club", it's certainly been nice being able to apply my passion and knowledge for geeky shit towards helping a place that brings enjoyment to other people who share my enthusiasm.

I don't have a lot to say about these two episodes, although it was ironic that the guy who bailed on the Telepathy club to start this show off was the actual telepath. In some ways, they felt a little random after the Divine Tree arc and I wonder how this show will wind down with 4 episodes to go. Still that ending was a bit trippy -- I wonder about the lingering impact of Mameta's unexpected journey to the alien homeworld. "Bridge of Death?? I ain't crossing that!" -- Indiana Ken

BTW I still haven't read it myself, but I've heard that Inukawa's alien adventures were originally delivered piece by piece in subsequent chapters in the manga. I love em for how insane they are.
