This whole Death Battle was animated by a single person and took them almost a year. Mad respect to their dedication.

In my opinion this is objectively the best death battle they’ve ever done so far. Analysis was great, Animation was the best we’ve ever gotten on the show by far, and the matchup itself is perfect in terms of themes and fairness, and they even got Johnny Gioeli to do the song as well! (vocalist behind Crush 40 and behind some of the most iconic Sonic songs ever). Just going from the old Shadow vs Mewtwo which they self admitted was an episode they made out of spite and wasn’t accurate at all to this??? It was the biggest glowup the matchup could ever have and I’m so happy this was the result as a fan of both series and characters.

Extra shout out to the animator of this fight Souljen which was his first time coming on to the show and he absolutely delivered it was always hit or miss for me when it came to 3D animated Death Battles, but as you can see he absolutely knocked it out of the park.
