Later this month Kefin and Adam will be sitting down to look back over the first half of Season 5 and they want to answer your questions and hear your thoughts! How has the 06/07 DX Reunion held up in your mind? What have been your favourite moments from this season of the show?

Hit us up with your thoughts and feelings in the comments below!

Kieran Polland

Which has aged worse in terms of attempting to be edgy? The peak of the Attitude Era from 98-99 (let’s call it up until Russo left for WCW) or this 2006 run where it felt like they were trying to harken back to the glory years but feeling out of place?

Apollo Picaro

The DX reunion very much hasn't held up at all although 09 will be much worse. As for favorite moment it'd have to be the JID entries everytime Kane showed up because it makes the time period of each show alot funnier as I was a kid during this time. Question: What would be something you would have done differently regarding DX's reunion as an improvement?

Kevin Owens and Little Sami Zayn get to start a WWE version of Taskmaster. Your task: Each of you, in alternating order, pick a group of 5 different personalities from wrestling past and present that would make the best contestants. You have ten minutes. Your time starts now.

This is for Adam as the first time watcher of this period. Were you surprised at how short and relatively low-key the DX reunion turned out to be. Since the original was the main event, and all over the show, the reunion seemed stuck in it's own little world and very inconsequential.

Your second task: (read no further if you want it to remain a surprise on air) Book a Survivor Series match between your two groups of five contestants. Reach a consensus on who the survivor or survivors will be within five minutes. Your time starts now.

Is Chris Masters truly the best, worst or most forgettable Chris in WWE history?

What have been your favorite moments from Season 5 so far and your least favorite moments as well keep up the amazing work guys

Dr. Judge, Private Eye

This actually ties into Kieran Polland's and Apollo Picaro's posts: I'd love to hear you both rebook an excellent modern storyline to be botched in any of pro-wrestling's """golden eras.""" For instance: Imagine Vince McMahon booking Swerve/Hangman in the Attitude Era. Stop vomiting! DO IT! IMAGINE IT!

At what point do you think WWE lost its way? Because I always thought the first half of 2006 was quite good. It seems to fall off a cliff somewhere around the middle. Can you pinpoint when that happened? And why do you think it happened? It felt like at the start of 2006 they had loads of stars and by the end of the year, there's just no one exciting at all.

Luke Dunne

It seems like some of the highlights from this season are people who are rarely if ever on PPV, like Hacksaw and Maria and Super Crazy. Who are your unbooked MVPs and who SHOULD have been on PPVs more?

Randy Worth

What’s your favorite shit Test promo? The one on Raw where he refers to the Mean Street Posse as those “3 little butt sniffers”, on Smackdown when he rejects the RTC’s offer to join them showing off his sarcastic comedic chops, or at the No Way Out 2001 PPV where he talks about liking to watch hot women wrestle.

Marc Vukotich

I started watching wrestling in 2008 and had both the DX DVD and the book for the Biblotech and loved that stuff as an 11-12 year old. Now it’s cringe looking at a lot of it, but do you think any of the humor holds up? Was there anything you were surprised you found legit funny? I still find the “I JUST KICKED STAN” moment to be one of the funniest things in general and my partner who is a super causal wrestling fan laughed. Looking forward to you really making fun of 2009, including Bragging Rights 2009! (I’m only excited because I went with my family)

Jack Gould

In preparation for some of the episodes this season, did you watch any Smackdown episodes featuring Gunner Scott? If so, what did you think of him? If memory serves, he was booked as a protege for Benoit. I remember thinking he was bland and looked like a CAW preset but not much else.

Mr. Fretz

If you could put 5 different wrestlers from the time in the Spirit Squad gimmick, who would it be?

Jody Vyrostek

The sudden and intense shellacking that has been put on Mr. Kennedy truly entertained me. Like, "damn, fellas, I didn't know you felt that strongly!" But I'm delighted that you do.

Nicholas Tedesco

Do you think there's any chance that you would have "got" Mr. Kennedy more if you had seen him in his debut days? Or do you think the whole shtick has no appeal, even before his more "trying to be a serious main eventer" days?

Congrats for another half-milestone, and for the many years of great podcasting in general! Here's hoping the AE Podspress never ends...but if it did end, and you were to reunite several years later. Do you think you'd still be in podcasting shape?

Kyle C78

Was there anyone on the Smackdown roster you think would have done better on RAW during this time period? I would be very interested in hearing you guys review the Smackdown PPV’s someday. Great first half of the season, can’t wait to hear more. Keep up the good work.

Ashleigh Clements

Hello Kefin and Adam hope you are well and happy new years (I know it’s a bit late). What one change would you make to the first half of season 5 that would change the course of wrestling history Eg. Triple h not getting his quad tear again and setting up the second mania match with cena and what would that leave Shawn with at mania. Keep up the great work and looking to boys picks and part 2 of season 5

Jess Ramirez

What’s been your favorite WWE Vault video? I have to think Tajiri/HHH is up there, but personally the Christian/Kurt Angle match was fascinating to me on a few different levels. Christian is in full 2002 Heel Mode and then a month or so later debuts in the WWF as a mute vampire, while Kurt Angle looks like the most generic create-a-wrestler of all time.

Trotsky The Coffee Revolutionary

Heya mister Kefin and Adam, happy new year to all of you and Billy too. I’ve been enjoying your crawl through the era of wrestling I am most fond of, especially the ecw shows and the “fumble in the jungle” ppv December to dismember. My question is, would you’ve put DX as a side show or put 100% more effort into making it seem more interesting and appealing than what it originally appeared?

Cornelius Smiff

Can we have an official inquiry into 'Candle in the Wind' Gate? I feel the AE podcast public need a little transparency from Billy. But my actual question is... ala the New Age Outlaws in 1998, if it had happened during this later DX run, who do you think on that roster was either DX adjacent or would have fitted in as an additional member or members of the faction had it been a thing? You can also include any possible stupid writing decisions WWE would have made i.e. people totally not making any sense as members of DX, but that Vince totally would have placed with them for some arbitrary reason.

Chris Morton

Long time listener, I always wondered if you guys ever played any of the booking simulator games. Stuff like Extreme Warfare Revenge back in the day or Total Extreme Wrestling. On topic: Which wrestlers stood out in the first half of the season? What wrestlers are you looking forward to seeing in the 2009 half of this season?
