Jackson liked my first ever comment ages ago and I’ve been chasing that high ever since.

Joe

Hi I’m Jackson I liked ur comment

#Johan84

Growing up as a Mexican the theory that I always heard was that the chupacarbra was a failed science experiment that escaped and was always described as dog like

nemesis

Hey guys, I don’t usually leave comments but i think it’d be a super fun idea to have a red-thread cryptid competition for whoever makes the best red thread themed cryptid

The Squamch

About cryptid episodes, I think they're the most enjoyable episodes of the show (not that I don't love the rest of them). I believe that the stories, accounts, and claims around each cryptid story, as well as the theories as to what people may have really been seeing, are just super fun to hear and pick apart. If you wanted to pursue the grab-bag idea, might I suggest something similar to Fire of Learning's "Cryptids of (The United Kingdom)" series? You could pick a region of the world and discuss the different cryptids, folklore, and/or superstitious beliefs of the area. Regardless, this show is really interesting and you guys cover a lot of compelling topics. thank you!

Ben Crawford

These episodes are usually pretty short. Cryptid grab bag episodes?

Twocan

This episodes was the stupidest, and worst episode yet. It was fucking fantastic, it was genuinely Hilarious. Pirate Charlie, Wendigoon doing his Ben Drowned Goldblum here because his editor can’t take it away, and slandering the entire state of Texas. Chefs kiss. I like the grab bag episode idea, Isaiah would bust a nut over an “Angles, Demons, and Giants” episode. Also Jackson where is after reports, it’s my favorite series :(

Griffinmane

I happened for me aswell was searchinng though the comments for this to make sure my headphones aren't jacked up

Jacob

Salem witch trails would be a good topic

CJ

Any chance of eventually adding video to the early Patreon releases? I like listening to the episodes early but always feel like I'm missing out not being able to see the pictures y'all put on screen. Especially the Voynich Manuscript and Cicada episodes. Those are really tough to get through on audio only. Either way love the show and hope you guys keep it up for a long time!

BOOSTIO@Soundcloud

I like the cryptid episodes, but I love the conspiracies and other interesting ones the most. Im here for all of them. Cryptids or whatever else. All good.

Charlotte

harvey weinstein

BVCKBURN3R

For a good cold case episode you guys should cover the west Memphis three. There is a lot to cover.

Shawn Davis

charles manson red thread?

Backround noise

As a Hispanic, exited where this comes from. My gma kept us inside whenever it got dark outside with his presence

Jealous Lettuce

new cryptid episode my day has been made

Jealous Lettuce

i think the cryptid grab bag episodes idea is good. If yous do them make sure to include hairy hands it’s so ridiculous i know charlie knows about it

Cyonated

i am not showing jackson clarke my show notes.

Nick Schaeper

I know this is unrelated but boogie got a face tattoo that says liar

Jubacatisy

There has been a cryptid haunting “popular” YouTuber Boogie named Jackson Clarke. Y’all should do an episode on him.

Daniel Nelson

oh yeah the famous "Boogieman". That is a legendary cryptid

Thoams Wyatt

I never knew Ben drowned Goldbloom would make an appearance on the red thread truly a one of the crossovers of all time

Rhys

For cryptid episodes you guys could pick a city/state/area to cover multiple cryptids from! like covering Wisconsin and including the hodag, the beast of bray road, the lake monsters, the Wisconsin manbat, gnomes of fefield, etc. all together

Ryan Wurr

I enjoy the cryptids episodes

Family Dollar

If you ever want to find the truth about these creatures, look up Mountain Monsters. They have hands-on experience with these cryptids.

Chandler Lujan

I love the cryptid episodes, I would love to hear one about Bigfoot. I feel like that has a lot of content to talk about with Bigfoot like cryptids persisting all over the world

dyslexicanaboko

Jackson, I can't remember when, but you said something to the effect of, "We aren't doing as many cryptid episodes anymore because they rank lower with our general audience." - not trying to put words in your mouth, just paraphrasing. It was during one of your Q&A mini-episodes. So I was just resigned to hearing about conspiracy theories moving forward. If you are open to doing cryptids more often that would be great because that's what I actually wanted to hear about. I really enjoyed the Wendigo story, I want to hear about the more obscure cryptids. Preferably not the ones created by reditors. Things based in culture would be great. Asian Indian, Japanese, Chinese, American - I don't care. For example the Philippines have some really cool ones. There is a Filipino series on Netflix called Trese which featured several gods. It was super cool.

lanirus

Can yall do one about the cryptid goonboy he's found lurking in the depths of the domain of the antichrist

ToddTheNerd

I wouldn’t mind if you guys stuck more to conspiracies/mysteries. This episode in particular seemed like you guys were less involved in the conversation and more bored of the topic. If you do wanna do cryptids try the method you mentioned of doing multiple in and episode to spice up the conversation.

theofficialpodcast

I didn't want to entirely stop doing cryptid videos, we've just got to find a way to package them in a better way I think as they are historically the lowest performers out of all the subjects we've covered. -J

Josh Berman

Id like to see more historical based episodes like the mayans or biblical mysteries/ discrepancies. I hope that could make for an engaging topic and content packed episodes

dyslexicanaboko

Thank you for replying it means a lot. You have a good business sense, it obvious to me. So do whatever is best for you guys obviously. I'm here for all of it.

GONX

Talk more about cold cases, heists, and cult leaders.

Carter Venne

The OG red thread beef is with the Jeffrey Epstein estate

Josh

Can't belive I heard wendigoon say p*ssy what a surprising episode

The Common Cold

Wendigoob is such a villain this episode 😂😂

Bwoods

35 min in is probably the hardest I’ve ever heard Jackson laugh. Another banger episode!

Jacob

Trials**^

Phillip Motsinger II

People say krakens are the Chupacabras of the ocean. Many such cases!

Cheezle

Jackson definitely said Chupa Chups the normal Australian way. Charlie's way was weird af 😂

Tyler

Maybe it’s just me, I’d love to see Red Thread cover more true crime.

LandsBendigo

Y'all should do a episode on Mark Hofmann
