Hey guys,On the next episode of Red Thread, we'll be discussing the Bunyip, the Yowie as well as Drop Bears. Doing so will put us at great danger but we do this because we need the world to know about the true dangers in Australia.

If you want your questions read on the show, drop it below and, if it's relevant, we'll read it out at the end of the episode and do our best to answer it.

Thanks,Jackson Clarke

How bad of an ass whooping would australian cryptids recieve from American cryptids?

Zetlin

You should look at the song, “something in the Pilliga” by slim dusty it revolves around an Australia cryptid folk lore

Simon

What role do these cryptids play in the Australian hivemind? As in, do kids learn about these cryptids from their parents through scary stories, and do some people actually believe them? Or are they more or less irrelevant now? Love the show - keep it up guys

Zodiacalbong

My favorite Australian cryptid is the elusive pole position podcast

Cristian

Could the Bunyip's legend be a reflection of early interactions with large, unknown animals or even extinct species?

Cristian

Australia has no known native ape species so where could the Yowie have come from?

Cristian

How do you avoid a drop bear attack? Incase I ever vist Australia!

jack rouse

Where is pole position it's the best show you have ever produced

Nick Kachur

Gotta tackle more historical stuff, even if it’s not considered a cult today, a lot of stuff back in the day is still interesting even though it isn’t as big now. Explore the masons! Idc if nobody dies or if it fizzes out but anything that starts out crazy is still nice. I feel like you’re ignoring that entire older demographic Jackson.

James Becker

The Yowie is going to get you be careful

Marc

Not a a cryptid, but you should do a Red Thread on the Australian Prime Minister who disappeared while swimming.

Gooner_Nose

Could you eat a Bunyip? would it taist nice? could a way to counter the drop bear is to put spike under them, loony tunes style?

Cats On My Lawn

The yowie, Bigfoot that lives by the rivers along quartened off aboriginal land. Went camping with dad and his mates and were allowed in by one of the guys there, could hear bellowing grunts echo along the river and all the cockies would be silent for a few moments before during and after, it would take em 15 mins to start crying and yammering again. Very eerie fishing trip all 4 nights heard it, spooked a lot of the older blokes there too.

Cassy Turner

Do you guys know anyone who’s claimed to see an Australian Cryptid?

Paddy

Since sources tell me Australia isn’t real where do you really live?

Melvin Monter

Jackson against whom do you believe you have the best chance of defeating in hand to hand combat, the Bunyip, Yowei, or Drop Bear?

CaptianMex1C0

Which Australian abomination/Animal would have the easiest time fighting a cryptid?

Yennifer

what cryptid would you eat if it existed, which one seems the most delicious

Luis Zuniga

Western Philosopher

I tried musk candy and Vegemite and they were actually pretty good (not together).

Rake

Does the Thylacine/Tasmanian Tiger count as a cryptid? Do you think there are any remaining in Australia or Tasmania

Bigbuffa
