Belal Muhammad was able to overcome numerous obstacles by sticking to a very smart game plan. He had the deck stacked against him, but he was confident that if he could become champ with the right approach.

I talk the ins and outs of Belal's game plan, what made it work, how it exploited habitual issues of Leon, and how Leon's propensity for making strange decisions eventually caught up to him.

Only 8 minutes in so far, but you brought up a good point about MMA fighters naturally wanting to create distance to avoid engaging with a difficult part of their opponent's game. It's something I've been noticing a lot more in the last 2-3 years, where fighters seem to think "This guy is really good at XYZ, I need to prepare to avoid that each time they do it." Sometimes they might be better served by crashing into their opponent instead, forcing them to make decisions in a hurry and fight in a way they might not be comfortable with. Allen vs Chikadze from the same card is a good example of that.

Also, more of this type of content would be great!

I am honestly excited by a Belal title reign only for the fact that he says he wants to fight the top contenders in his own weight class. A real pleasant change from double champ ambitions, easy lay ups, and continous rematches.
