Patron update for January: Goals, Projects, Plans (Patreon)

Hey all! Happy new year. If you haven't read my Recap for 2018 post, that's a great place to start since this is a bit of a shorter post :)

Goals

Overall, I want to cut back on the flailing that I do. Over the past two years I tried a LOT of new stuff. Some of it worked, some of it didn't. I want to focus on a few major projects and give myself a bit of time to handle all the little things that come along the way.

Projects

I have a few major projects this year:

Continuing the weekly songmaking for patrons. Whether that is Two Hour Track Challenge, or just making on my own schedule, doesn't matter to me.

Create and release a game this year, probably the little Match 3 game I've been tinkering with.

Start producing Creative Exploration videos, even if they are once or twice a month. I feel it's valuable to get that stuff out there.

Keep making the monthly sample pack. People like them and it's a good way to spread the music love.

That's it. Everything else is, for lack of a better word, expendable. I will likely make some independent albums and do commissioned work along the way, but this is my focus.

Plans

As always, my plans and schedule are publicly available on Trello. I am working to keep this extensively updated. Even if I make something just to put it directly in the completed area. It's good to be able to recap my week and see what I did and what I didn't schedule enough time for me to do.

That's it for this month. December was incredibly busy for me and I'm relishing in the slower pace for January. Hoping I can recoup a bit of my sanity and continue to make progress on all these super cool projects!
