I went back and re-read my March post and it's weird how quickly things change. After being so slammed in February, my time in March was mostly spent readjusting to a new way of living. Thankfully, since I don't really go out much anyway, it wasn't a large transition physically, just mentally. It's tough to remember to wash hands more, and wear gloves when venturing out to get groceries. I hope everyone is doing OK out there, and if you're not, feel free to get in touch and we can talk about it.

With everything that's been going on it took some adjustment. The first half of the month was spent mostly playing games and just mentally processing everything. I did eventually get over that though and am back on track to be creative and make the most of the time I have right now.

This month's reading was a bit lighter as well, though I finished Smile, You're Traveling (Henry Rollins has some absolutely inspired writing, but he definitely has some anger issues in this 1998 book) and Break Through! (some great insight from a bunch of artists on how to overcome creative block.

I've got more on my list this month, a mix of random entertainment books and creative/insightful reading.

Have been getting back to game development in my spare time as well. I started a small project called Death Drives A Bus. It spawned from a random thought I had back in December and it's been kind of growing and evolving from there. It'll be a quick little puzzle game that I hope to release to you all by the end of April.

These smaller projects are great for rebuilding momentum and starting to get things going again. I've also worked to build a small personal library of scripts and modules which will help put games together faster in the future.

We also started the Two Hour Track Challenge again! If you missed last week's song, Simply Water turned out pretty great. It's always so interesting to witness my style evolve over time, especially since I seemingly don't have much personal direction over it myself. I'm looking forward to a super fun season 12 of the project.

Color Jumper is also under development again! I'm working on building up a version for the Switch. As someone who grew up with a NES, I'm really excited about the idea of getting my game on a Nintendo console.

Aside from that, I've mostly been working to catch up on certain projects and keep busy. I have a big 'ol list of things I can do. I'm always looking for some kind of management trick that helps keep me focused. Tend to rotate between Trello boards, scheduling on Google Calendar, and making a lot of to-do lists.

I probably have more to say, but this is already getting kind of long. Thanks so much for being a Patreon supporter! I'm going to go donate to some kitties now 🥰🐱
