You don't feel or see the tension in person Lin, but I could see it in some of the photos. She and I talked about how you feel out a shoot when it's just starting, and then you either relax as the day goes on or you get miserable because the interaction between the model and photographer just isn't working.

I certainly didn't mean to suggest that there was tension between the two of you. It was the muscle tension that I can sense as she holds the pose. The need to keep still and often in an awkward position creates the tension I was referring to. ;)))

Got you. These are all earlier in the day photos. She has what I call her cold face which can come across as tension. I would also say at the start of any shoot there is a certain tension until the photog and model get into their groove, even when they've worked together several times. It's not tension between them, it's just settling into the shoot. The model is looking to settle into her poses and the photog is settling into the lighting conditions.
