For sure. I've seen trailcam footage of 2 eyes in the woods' edge bordering someone's backyard, 2 white dots that suddenly move 8 feet off the ground like something huge is standing up. Whether it's fake or not, it's so creepy to see the white eyeshine of a predator in the darkness. For sure it's an ancient evolutionary imperative to be wary of it, when we got stalked by big cats, bears, wolves and other dangerous predators as cavemen.

I literally got chills reading this. Post any of those videos you see cuz I wanna see too. And you’re so right. Sometimes I forget that we weren’t always the apex due to our brains. But when we were cavemen? We were no where near the top of the food chain and the idea of watching constantly cuz we’re being hunted is so scary to me. The scariest part for me in this movie was when the dad saw it again…and it backed up in that dark hallway and then morphed into its true form…tall and eyes so scary…
