NGL, a part of me loves this movie, lol. I was in late high school, when this came out Edit: This was my introduction to Reese Witherspoon-who was Elle Woods in Legally Blond. Selma Blaire. Cecil was also in that movie. I also had a bit of a crush on Ryan Phillippe-Sebastian.

Also Reese and Ryan were kind of an "It" couple in the early 200s, after this movie was made. And Sean Patrick Thomas played Ronald, he's also in Save the Last Dance-another movie I like a lot

Oh, one last thing I wanted to add-yes, I watched this movie , a lot, lol. They basically decided Sebastian kind of had to die in order for him to be redeemed for his sins, and what he did in the past. So that twist, while heartbreaking, always made sense to me.

I also love that in the movie, he was an ass, but at least he wasn't a racist, or bigot. When his gay friend talked about getting laid he just stated "Good for you"

Whoa. I never even caught on to that. Honestly? It’s one of the instant signs for me that a guy is good to be around. If he is comfortable with himself to not flinch when he’s around me. That means a lot. So many people think you’re less than a man cuz you are intimate with them. It’s really hurtful and scary. Knowing that there are people out there that I’ve never met that want to kill me. All that to say..it means a lot when you learn this kinda stuff about the people you looked up to as a kid. I just turned 40 so I just remember fear and hiding when it came to seeing these kinds of movies. I had to pretend to like the girls so the guys at school wouldn’t beat the shit outta me, So now being older and hearing that Ryan was an ally…way back then? Along with men like Tom Hardy and the late Heath Ledger…it just means a lot. Sorry. I’m stoned and in my feels and we’re friends, Natasha.
