*Some Joe Lore* I was in ninth grade when this came out. I was raised super religious and very strict…so I remember sneaking away with my friends, to go see this. This was my first Texas chainsaw movie…so I had no idea what was about to happen…and I gotta admit…this one is probably my favorite. It’s not too cheesy, not corny, but the real gems are the actors in this one for me. They did not mess around. Jessica Biel, Eric Balfour…in the early 2000s they were lowkey heartthrob royalty and actually capable actors. And Eric has always been one of my crushes idgaf lol even Jessica Biel…she a hot ass and she out here KILLING it!

I’ll never forget what my friend Ashlee said when we were watching this…when they almost hit the hitchhiker lady? Ashlee leaned over and said “what do you think HER movie was like?” Meaning, in that instant, Ashlee knew that this hitchhiker just went thru something horrible….and Idky but that’s always stuck with me and creeped me out. Cuz it’s true…Jessica Biel became the hitchhiker so what was Hitchhiker girl’s story? Creepy.
