Honey has antibacterial properties, it's been used to treat and prevent infections for thousands of years. The heat from boiling it also kills bacteria. It would also be a good home defence weapon, boiled honey sticks to the skin and burns like nepalm, it's also flammable.

The film is loosely based on a cool 80s TV show of the same name I used to watch starring a more elderly ex-CIA spy who has an Ad in the newspaper for anyone needing help when the odds are stacked against them. A really cool show, not so violent and action packed as the film but still good.

Martin Csokas played Nikolai, he's a Kiwi actor who played the elf Celeborn, the male elf beside Galadriel in Lord of the Rings when the fellowship first meets her.
