I love Eddie, I know Norbit gets a lot of flak for being politically incorrect by today's standards, but I love it. The man is a real chameleon, I love his different characters. BTW, India if you haven' seen 'Coming to America' then that is one classic Eddie movie you MUST see. It's SO good. BTW Thandie Newton is one hot woman.

Rotten tomatoes are notorious for judging movies through a woke lens. If something in a movie is potentially offensive to the woke tards then it gets a low rating. It's become a meme in recent years where the audience rating is high and the critics rating is low, but if a movie ticks all the 'woke' boxes then it gets a high critics rating and often a low audience rating because prioritising political messaging always leads to poor characters and storytelling.

One thing that's so bizarre in American movies is that the bullies are always gingers, always. It's weird because gingers are more likely to BE bullied than to bully. I guess you could theorise that due to being bullied they'd take it out on smaller younger kids but it's not the case in reality. I guess Hollywood hates gingers, they keep replacing them with black people in movies lol, like the little Mermaid, Annie and a host of redhead comic characters who were made black in live action. weird.

I'm also a redhead, at least I was when I had hair lol (got that bald Viking look) but yeah, I never bullied people, one kid punched my younger redheaded sister in primary school when we were kids but I hunted him down and punched him in the mouth :)

People like comparing Eddie Murphy to Eddie Murphy. I love the movie from an artist standpoint. But when you made movies like boomerang coming to America vampire in Brooklyn and trading places. Then try to do something different like norbit Pluto Nash and Mr Church most people look at it on the surface and not see the deeper portion of the movies.
