Loved this movie when it came out. Don't they say good art makes you question your morals? And then it was interesting to see Brenda from Scary Movie playing a serious role.

So Clyde actually did win, he smiled when he realized Nick did he wanted him to do. He isolated Nick to make sure he became an uncompromising District Attorney. He wanted Nick to kill him. The “boyfriend” that the blond lawyer was Clyde, Clyde wanted Nick to find his hideout and Nick had to break the rules to break into his hideout and gave him that property so he could find it. He used napalm rather than C4, which would have killed the room above, but used napalm because it would not take out anyone else besides himself. He gave Nick 30 seconds to escape. Clyde wanted to die at Nick’s hands. There are tons of other tidbits that show that Clyde won the game, an uncompromising district attorney that he installed himself. Nick became exactly what he wanted.

I was always taught never to open the door for strangers and the one time I did was when I was in my early 20s and some crazed woman tried to bust in and take my nephew 😩

I think he killed about 12 people. Whereas the justice system failing for decades and letting killers go amassed the deaths of many more innocent people. It's a great movie imo and a unique spin on Guy Fawks.
