Lou’s backstory was cut from the film. In the book you learn the reason why she doesn’t take risks w her life is bc she was assaulted at a party when she was a teenager. I really wish they wouldn’t have cut that when they adapted it into a film. I also wish they would’ve continued and made adaptations for the other 2 books

I cry when other people cry so this was a disaster 😭 I haven’t watched this in years because it’s so triggering - watching loved ones in hospice or similar destroys you, and then you think you’ve pulled yourself together until a simple movie like this just opens the dam and turns you into a sobbing mess.

THANK YOU for understanding the situation. Some other reactors don't get his decision and call him selfish etc. I broke my leg last summer and was basically inside for two-three months. I love being outdoors, walking in the woods, hiking. So my mood was LOW. So I can't even begin to understand someone in Wills situation. I've also suffered from deep depression, a few different times. Not wanting to get out of bed, finding absolutely nothing enjoyable. Not having any hope, and just wanting the pain to stop. It's not selfish or weak wanting to end it, it just means you've been strong for long enough. Love can't save everything. Only you can do that.
