Thanks again to CPTN Cosmo for another great Sci-Fi and for the support!

This film was so beautifully made and had some insane moments. It is another one of those that I would recommend (if you have not seen it) that you watch by yourself first and experience discovering what it all means on your own without my input. But of course feel free to watch it with me if you wish :)

Hope you guys enjoy the video!

I’ve been dying to rewatch this, so I guess this is the perfect opportunity! I’m so excited to see what your thoughts on it are :)

This is the movie that I would love most to see for the first time again. I bought this movie as soon as it came out because I loved it so much. It is one of my top 5 favorite scifi movies of all time. The ending blew my mind in such a great way the first time I saw it that I wish I could experience that again.

The music intro at the start, when the screen is still blank, already brings the flood of emotions back to me. Adore this film.

And the Names: Abbott and Costello were an American comedy duo composed of comedians Bud Abbott and Lou Costello, whose work with radio, film, and television made them the most popular comedy team of the 1940s and early 1950s, and the highest-paid entertainers in the world during World War II. Their patter routine "Who's on First?" is considered one of the best-known comedy routines of all time.[1] Their popularity waned in the early 1950s due to overexposure and changing tastes in comedy, and their film and television contracts lapsed. The partnership ended soon afterwards. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abbott_and_Costello

After watching, I'm again out of words, but I think the best quote was not from the movie, but from you: "I'll try and summarize that... somehow..." :D I also recommend watching this video about the movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Wg6l9z3TnY and of course, reading the short story this movie is based on: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Story_of_Your_Life Also interestingly, the director Denis Villeneuve just did another Sci-Fi epic (DUNE), which is based on a series of books and has been made into a film and mini-series before, I can't wait to watch his version! Thank you again for the great reaction!

I’m usually not a fan of sci-fi, so I had no expectations when I first watched this movie. Little did I know I would be a sobbing mess by the end 😭 (and that this would end up being one of my favorite movies of all time). What completely won me over was the ending (her knowing she would have heartbreak later in life but choosing to live through it regardless (I’m tearing up as I’m typing this 🥲😂) But yes, such a beautiful film 👏🏽

Partial lyrics from Garth Brooks, "The Dance." That if you could avoid something, you wouldn't know the pain, but you would miss the dance. The wonderful gorgeous stuff is the dance. Don't miss the dance folks! It's worth it. :) I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end, the way it all would go Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain But I'd have had to miss the dance.

This is one of my favorite sci-fi’s and I especially love the sound design for the creatures
