More grunts and smouldering in this and I love how you guys found Milfgard funny lol (I filmed this before I saw the comments I will bring it back for ep 3)

Hope you all enjoy!

casting henry cavil as geralt was a power move tbh

“Toss a coin to your Witcher…” Great, now I have that song stuck in my head again 🙈 I’m not familiar with the games, but this episode sold me on the lore of this show. I’m a nerd when it comes to magic, so I was very intrigued by Yennefer’s storyline (magic has a price, etc).

I pretty much watch everything with subtitles these days, only really comedy that I try and not as it can ruin the timing. I don't always need it but it's just become a habit to leave it on. With the lute thing, Geralt said "Filavandre's lute not gift enough for you?"- so he must have been given a new one cus his got busted. As Jeff said, the song at the end is very catchy and sticks in the head. They have a fun dynamic those two. Witch stuff was pretty cool. Decent chunk of worldbuilding with the elf backstory and I guess the reality of the war outside of the POV of royalty from the 1st episode. I do like the fantasy medieval magic type aesthetic for films and shows, has a charm to it.

speaking of sometimes speaking over some lines 😂, you did miss hearing the part where the big bad mage was congratulating Yennefer for not letting her emotions consume her and successfully spying on the dude she makes out with in the catacombs (the scene literally right before we see that HE is ALSO spying on HER for the icky warlock)

Seb you are looking much more handsome than usual lol. This show has sooo much to pay attention too but it's definitely worth it. Can't wait for the next episode. It's a great one.

Achille Grimonprez

I'm so glad i haven't watched this show before, it's so much better to watch it with you! I'm hooked and i can't wait to see the rest, same goes for Sense8! You really are spoiling us Seb, thanks a lot =D

Yeah, the king of the elves gave Jaskier (the bard) his own lute to replace the one they busted.

Dónde está la biblioteca

I gave this a chance, watching two episodes. It's confirmed, I still don't like TV. My brain feels mushy. (Yes, that is a jab. lol) Looking forward to your movie reactions. :)

I wouldn't Google too much to understand the show, it might ruin some surprises

Not all TV is the same, I'm not fond of this genre so probably not gonna keep watching this specific show, enjoying Sense8 though

I grew up watching loads of TV. Now I feel my brain turn to oatmeal. I haven’t turned on my TV in years. It is my cross to bear. Lol. But I enjoy good films and have enjoyed Seb’s reactions there.

Etoile2004

Now I kinda want your reaction to Elves (also in Netflix)

I'm enjoying rewatching this with you! I forgot the plot a lot so it's a nice recap for season 2. Great Reaction Seb! xoxo <3
