To be fair, there are some pretty high escalators, okay! 😅🤣🤣 (If one goes on for more than 1-2 levels, I’m holding on for dear life lol) Gimbel’s was actually a major US department store that went out of business in the 80’s, so the filmmakers were able to get around needing permission from active stores. Some quotes I still use from this movie: *“I’m singing. I’m in a store and I’m singing!..” *”Francisco. Francisco. Francisco.” (I do this to every Francisco I come across, either just in my head or out loud 🙈)

Your laugh at the tucking in scene was contagious, had me dying too. What's with your vendetta against american snacks? First Twinkies now Pop Tarts? Smh. Also lights AFTER the ornaments?? BLASPHEMY. Your right to celebrate Christmas is revoked.

He did say it was first time putting up his tree himself, so he definitely gets an A for effort in my book 👍🏽 As for American snacks, I can totally understand people not liking our food. We not only have a weird palette that favors sugar far more than the rest of the world, but we have such an obsession with food in general. The past few years I’ve been trying to not have that obsession and to expand my palette. Pop Tarts are great though, and definitely the more approachable snack 😂

Excellent reaction! This is always a great movie to kick off the season. My absolute must, every year, is The Muppet Christmas Carol! Great Muppet humor, combined with the classic Bob Cratchet story. Keep 'em coming!

This was my first time watching this. This felt more classic Christmas film. I think it would be interesting to have watched this as a kid and an adult as I feel like a lot of what was funny would only have made sense to adults or older kids. It was a really wholesome and funny film. The way Buddy treated people and was treated himself was both really sweet and really sad at the same time. Maybe an unpopular opinion but I'm not sure I ever liked being tucked in, I always immediately untucked myself because I like the duvet to be free and more easily full body huggable 🥰

His laugh and enthusiasm is so infectious and endearing. This is probably gonna sound cheesy as hell but I honestly think Seb is making me a happier and more positive person. Not just because of his reactions but more generally, as well as this community. It's the least negative place I have ever experienced by miles.

Definitely. American chocolate has more sugar in it, whereas Irish(Cadburys) has more milk and is creamy. Completely different tastes.

I hadn't seen Love Actually either, both out in the same year it seems. I think by that age I wasn't really watching Christmas films as much. Was probably more watching the blockbuster films, rewatching early Harry Potter films, Dr Who on Christmas Day and Sherlock on New Years Day 😊

such a great Christmas classic! Will Ferrell says that while preparing for his role as Buddy, he channeled his 5-year-old son at the time and it really showed haha loved your reaction Seb, as usual. no need to apologize for laughing Seb, that's why we're here. I worry about anyone who doesn't laugh during this film because it's hilarious AND heartwarming.
