I felt like this one was a pretty important episode and I love the backstory with how quick they can change your opinions of characters

Never enough of ATLA but it definitely makes my Saturdays something to look forward to :)

Hope you guys have an awesome rest of the weekend! 1300+ Patrons this early is pretty nuts to be honest so thank you to all of you guys who joined this tier :')

If you remember at the beginning of the season, Zuko's father and grandfather also looked for the Avatar and failed. When Firelord Ozai (Zuko's father) sent him to find the Avatar, he didn't actually expect him to find anything. He banished him expecting to never see him again. Asshole. However, you should know Ozai is voiced by Mark Hamill.

Po's dad, yes! I knew I recognised that voice. Zuko is a complicated character for sure, who knows where he would have ended up without Iroh. Always love some juicy backstory. I guess Avatar is the opposite to AoT for you right now in that AoT ends most episodes with a cliffhanger whilst Avatar tends to end with a calm wholesome ending.

you see, I see that now… but the first character to pop into my head that was also voiced by the guy was that sassy/sexist little man from Mulan with the wispy mustache 😂

hmmmmm 🤨 wonder who that girl in front of Iroh was during the Agni Kai flashback 😏

the firelord is voiced by Mark Hamill...Star wars' luke skywalker and the batman animated series' Joker...also the joker of the Batman Arkham video games. plus other stuff.
