These three episodes definitely deserve the 9.9 ratings on IMDb. 3x20 and 3x21 are both information-heavy, so be prepared! Also 3x19 has a non-spoiler post-credits scene.

these episodes literally had me on the VERGE of my seat when they aired and on top of that the damn cliffhangers 😭 and now i get to watch others suffer the rollercoaster of emotions lol

I was so distraught by the previous episode that I actually stopped and looked up what happens during this episode before watching (yup, I ACTUALLY CONSIDERED QUITTING 😂😭). Thankfully that didn’t have to happen 😅

It's crazy to think that the series literally only gets better as it goes. In my personal opinion, even after these incredible episodes (pretty much the best ever), the series as a whole does continue to get even better.

I can't wait to watch all these episodes, seeing how much you're hyping them. But I have a rule to not watch more than 1 episode per day to force to think about each one and what may happen next. So I'll have to wait until Tuesday for this one.

I broke my 1 episode a day rule because I couldn't wait. It's now been several hours since watched it, but I still managed to leave a few hours between episodes. The tension of who would get the shot was done amazingly well. I normally see this and immediately think we know it will eventually go the character we know, but they actually managed to convince me Armin would die. Now I can't wait to see him as a titan, although I don't expect him to do it now as there's no reason for it. The sequence of flashbacks immediately before the decision does a great job at making us understand why Levy picked Armin in hindsight, while still not making us figure it out before we see him. Kenny said everyone needs some drive to continue. But Erwin's drive is the basement and he said he doesn't know what he will do if he achieves it. They'll get to the basement very soon and after that Erwin's drive to push forward would be a big question mark. But Armin's drive is the sea and that's something he can't achieve until later, so he will continue having a drive to push forward.

I have been with this show since I started watching in 2015. I know it came out in 2013 but I wasn't allowed to watch it until I was slightly older. I love this show so much and I weep and cry every time I watch this episode. It's harder to be emotionally attached when you haven't been watching the show for years, so for me it's more difficult to watch.
