I've been waiting for these episodes since you started book one, they're fucking LIT! Can't wait for the Southern Raiders episode!!

Once again, this episode proves why Iroh is one of the best. And watching Zuko come to grips with his true purpose is always good.

I had the same reaction as you, I did not expect the dragons the first time around and was sooo hype. Might be my favorite episode of the whole show. Def top three. That moment when Zuko and Aang do the dragon dance and then get wrapped in flame... every time I get all misty. The images are so iconic, esp of Zuko. I feel like this was def as much his episode as Aang's, if not moreso.

From this point forward you're going to notice Zuko's firebending doesn't involve him grunting and screaming like he did in the first two Books, this subtle detail is so cool after watching this episode. Also there's a theory that the whole 'dancing dragon' thing might be a reason dancing was banned from the Fire Nation because they didn't want anyone to know the true meaning of firebending so through years and years of propaganda everyone's just been taught to fuel their firebending from rage and anger.

When I first watched this episode and the Sun Warriors started chanting the outro song, I was literally so hyped 😂

I really wish that they had katara learn from Yue at the north pole at any point and so all Aangs teachers could have learned from the original source, I think that would have been really powerful but I doubt they knew the show was going where it was from the beginning
