Ummmm…. so WHAT THE ACTUAL F- was this episode 🤦🏻‍♂️😂 Poor choices made all around (for once this season, I’m not just dragging Cassie, but she’s lost the plot at this point lol). Some choices even seemed very out of character (looking at you, Jules 👀) That being said, even though I personally thought this episode was a mess, Zendaya’s commitment to her performance is still on point.

Well that was some stuff lol. I think you were right in that the film was Ghost they were playing up. Jules and Elliot have gone right down the pan for me this episode. Elliot really is just a black hole at this point and not liking him at all. Jules just making some messed up choices and her impulsivity to do that I feel is within her character now. Cassie is just pure WTF. Like how many people actually get this crazy over someone they didn't even really like before and also happens to be your best friend's ex. It was weird that apart from the Nate/Cassie scene, Nate did seem the most chill this episode, even felt a bit sorry for him at times. As Cal said, he is just so hard to work out, just don't understand him at all. Like why is he even trying to keep getting with Cassie right now and say fake I love yous. Doesn't make any sense. Hmmm I wonder if there is some master plan to get back the DVD from Maddy somehow. Maybe make Cassie so totally obsessed that she would steal it from Maddy somehow. God knows. The hot tub scene I had to cover her face, I could not look at that, disgusting 😂 I feel sorry for Cal but at the end of the day he did choose it and kept on choosing it, he does have ultimate responsibility. As you said as well he has a hand in how the family develops and he could have made emotional connections with his family, or others if he wanted to try. I agree in that I don't think I would want to be friends with any of the characters, Lexi maybe but that's like fairly neutral as we haven't actually seen much from her yet. There is still some episodes to go with this play in particular that could take her out completely as well 😂 I have to say that I think I preferred the plot/artistic balance of the first season a bit more to this one so far. I think the artistic stuff really makes this show unique and is really strong but I do just want more story lol

the cinematography of this episode has to be the best part of it, the whole flower scene with Cassie is sooo beautiful

Did I think Cal was justified for all the truth bombs he laid on his entire family? No. Was I 100% here for it? Yes 👏🏽 the whole Jacobs family could have a spin-off at this point, I have no idea what any of them will do at any given time. But I will say the older brother Aaron was the only one who looked shocked at what Cal was saying, Nate and the mom were both like 👀 and I will ask for the 100th time, who is the other kid in their family photo and why is no one mentioning that

I think what a lot of people need to understand is that not everything that is shot is actually happening. Some of the scenes and shots are used to give the viewer an insight to how euphoric they are feeling or how close to death they are. It's used to convey emotions and thoughts and similarities between characters. Great reaction Seb! xoxo <3

I feel like this show started going over the top with the "artsy" shots rather than focusing on quality. They should have shaved a lot of fat out of these episodes. That said, still a really interesting show with Zendaya taking the cake with her incredible talent.
