Anyone know why sound is turned off and video gets blurry ??

Wow what a nice surprise! I binged this show in one afternoon, it is so sweet and cute… this is what I needed after that awful and heartbreaking ending of Killing Eve…

harexx

i see you’re already hooked on the actors/ actresses from your ig stories post haha

dannyboi

ngl ive watched this show three time now, it is truly amazing! it is based on the webcomic of the same name and it is also really really amazing

Jeff Cabrera

The snow scene 🥺 (Can confirm, some crying, screaming, and throwing up did occur 😂)

harexx

how has everyone heard/ watched this one already and i just saw the trailer this morning since seb mentioned it 😭💀

Jordy Van T Zand

I’ve rewatched this a couple of times now and it makes me feel so many things every time. Happy that this and future generations have content like this to watch and feel represented, angry that I grew up without shows like this. It’s just such a sweet and wholesome show with an amazing cast

It's originally a graphic novel! So, us fans already knew about the live action show and having been waiting for it for a long time 😊

Kayla

I never experienced bullying in high school, but my best friend who is gay went to a Christian private school. It was hell for him. He faced lots of bullying and rejection from his family. It's awful to witness such things and not be able to do anything, I felt so useless. That was a long time ago and things are better now but those experiences leave lifelong scars.

ayden

it's a bit embarrassing how many times I've watched this show

AidenGoode

It’s a very special series and I’d definitely love it if you’d continue soon (but at your pace). It’s the embodiment of representation done right

James Stapleton

This show hit me in a way that I don’t think any show ever has before. It’s so relatable and having gone through secondary school, I thought I was watching my teenage years on film. It’s such a wonderful and charming and overall cute show. Plus, the representation of the community is top tier

love the sister too. Hope she gets a bigger role in season 2

Santos Luna Ramirez

Being of the majority of gays that had to hide being gay past high school, this show made me fall apart wishing I had experience something like this 🥹

Simon Bairstow

i binged this last night and immediately thought "ooh Seb has got to watch this" then went out for the day and came home to this wonderful surprise. i loved this show but it hit me hard in the feels because its so relatable. Keep up the good work Seb.

Richard Barker

I really enjoyed this show. Following along with your reaction is like watching the show all over again, from a different point of view. Can’t wait for the next one 🙂

Donna Borg

Heartstopper is amazing ! really hope you binge the rest of the episodes 🤣

Being older (39) and not coming out until I was 31, I felt both joy and sadness watching this show. I didn’t get to experience this wholesome cute teen love story. My first romantic experience with a guy was when I was 30 and turned very sexual very fast. I would’ve loved to have gone through the stage of shared long looks and flirty hand grazes. But it makes me happy knowing today’s queer youth mostly have a better world to grow up in. Also, I can tell Seb really likes this show because during the snow scene I had to check and make sure I hadn’t accidentally paused him. He didn’t say anything for a few minutes. Haha. I think this show should be played in all schools. A lot of LGBTQ teen content focuses on sex, which is fair and understandable. But it’s nice to see a show focus on feelings and attraction, not sex.

Yes, more heartstopper please! It's such a heartwarming show. A lot of LGBTQ+ content nowadays is focused solely on the struggles and hardships, and can often make us feel hopeless. So we definitely need more shows that portray queer love and happiness. I strongly suggest everyone to read the webcomic too! You can find it on webtoon or tapas. Alice Oseman is an amazing author and artist. I don't remember if you asked in this video or the previous one, but the actors were all around 17-18 at the time I think. I know Kit (Nick) was 17 when they filmed this. So they are actually high schoolers.

It’s such a cute show. I don’t think it’s heartbreaking except for the bullying. I also understand some fans feeling a bit sad that there wasn’t a show like this when they were in school. I definitely feel that way too. A show like this would have shown me I wasn’t alone.

Shelby Grimes

you are absolutely going to love this show. it's such a refreshing show for the LGBTQ+ community! Your heart will only grow warmer!

J G

More please! This would probably be my 5th time watching in a week. It’s such a feel good show. I was nervous about something going wrong too but you honestly don’t have to worry about that. Just sit back and enjoy. That’s all I’ll say.

harexx

we need a lesson on british slang w seb lol the “am i gay?” google search hits a little too close but is so funny to look back on lmaoo

Same here. Also a 39 year old gay man who came out at the age of 24. Had my first kiss at 26 and also turned sexual very fast. In school I had a huge crush on my straight best friend (who hasn’t right?) and every time I saw him or he touched me I felt the butterflies and sparks depicted as in the show. And every time I watch it and see these little moments all the emotions come rushing back.

Heartstopper was a nick nelson hug to the heart

Jed Knight

My toxic trait is that while watching this I think everyone and everything is going to be awful but it just isn’t and it’s beautiful

Ray D

I've watched Heartstopper 10 times now and watching it over again but with your reactions is the refresh I needed!!! Love it!
