I wish the post credits scene was bumped up to be the final scene and they had a post credits that established him more within the MCU (maybe a Midnight Sons team up tease).

Love the Wagwan shirt 😂 I think with some of the YouTube comments and I guess experience of Steven in general, that non-British people probably struggle to see the comedy in the accent as it just seems normal to them, so maybe some viewers are super confused why you are laughing, even though I laughed a lot as well with it. I thought this finale was alright just about. I wasn't actually expecting too much as the other show finales were just ok, nothing special I thought. I was super disappointed that they skipped the Jake fight, that had so much potential to be amazing. I wonder if we are ever going to see him fight really, well I guess maybe they have to be harmonised with Steven/Marc at some point. With what you commented it makes it a bit more confusing in a way what was going on lol. Maybe I need to have a look at some stuff to get it a little better. In some respects I guess Moon Knight's character is meant to be a bit confusing as it's almost inherent to it that it's sporadic and chaotic. Was cool to see Layla get powers as well, it did seem very falcon like. Was also super cool that Moon Knight can fly, that adds a lot of potential to him over maybe some other characters. Maybe plenty of other crazy stuff is open to him as well. I think the Gods and their Avatars did just come off as laughably weak and irrelevant the whole show apart from Khonshu and Amitt and I guess Hippo in a niche way. I was surprised how little they actually placed this into the MCU as there wasn't a single reference or continuation into the MCU world that I saw at all. The ending was also a little confusing and ambiguous and not sure if it was supposed to be. If you lived under a rock and didn't realise this was a MCU show, you could be forgiven for not noticing it at all. You mentioned some group he might be a part of, which I guess if that's the case then we probably won't see him again for years, apart from maybe some random cameo or post-credit, which would suck. Overall I think this show might be my favourite. As you said though I don't really think any of them hit it out of the park with every episode as a whole. Each has really strong episodes or scenes but also weaker or less interesting episodes as well. There was definitely some issues with this show and some wasted time for sure- Episode 3 in particular I think was a lot of sidetracking when they could have streamlined the story a bit more and given us some extra. I really enjoyed Moon Knight's character(s) though, got to be one of the best for me. I liked their interactions with the other characters but not sure I felt super strongly about most of the others. I might actually like the Hippo as my next favourite character. Solid show for sure. I can see why any of the shows could be people's favourites or they think are the best tbh. I think WandaVision and Loki were the best made even if not my favourites as such.

You should watch the original Blade on here.

I think if they had just made this show 7 or even 8 episodes, it would’ve been more fleshed out and the finale could’ve taken its time. I do think the mystery elements helped the show a lot, but at some point we need all the answers and there just wasn’t enough time in this finale for everything to have a satisfying conclusion. Still loved the show though and so glad our boy Steven with a V is back and hopefully Moon Knight can transition into the larger MCU in a big way

my first reactions are... WHAT! Really enjoyed it. Also my fav bit was when Steven said to Layla "wooowwww you look amazing, what are you wearing?" 🥺

I loved the entire Moon Knight series. But for some reason the finale felt more of a filler episode than the previous ones. The fight scenes were amazing, but it also felt rushed. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it. It is nice to finally see Khonshu’s true intentions and how he’s been manipulating Marc (and Steven) in an entirely different way than what they thought. Jake is brutal even without the suit or Khonshu’s powers. The reveal was great honestly. They kept teasing us about a third alter, and only showed him at the very last minute as most of us expected. This way it still created enough suspense around Jake for a potential season 2. If we do get a second season, I wonder how it will all work out, since Marc and Steven are unaware of this third alter. I feel like they could inevitably go back to working for Khonshu. Moon knight and WandaVision are the best series Marvel has ever put out in my opinion. I think I like Moon Knight a tad more because of Steven and how the series was directed up to episode 5. I like how there wasn’t unnecessary violence, and how they protrayed and unfolded his DID in a respectful way, without further stigmatising it. Personally, series and movies that tackle mental health in a meaningful way, and not just for the plot, will always be my favourite. WandaVision’s finale gave us more closure, but it did have 9 episodes instead of 6. In the end, they’re both great shows in their own way. So comparing them is trivial. I really like how both series deal with mental illness, grief, and trauma in a humane way.

Basically, it seems Khonshu's main objective was to always have Jake Lockley be his avatar, because of his more bloodthirsty nature. And I believe the reason we never saw Jake in the series is because Marc and Steven are both unaware he exists, and the show is told entirely from their perspectives. When Marc mentioned in episode 5 that he was kicked out of the military for going AWOL in a fugue state, that was likely another moment when Jake took control of their body, because it seems that Marc doesn't know what happened during that time. It's an interesting way to tell the story: three alters, but two of them are unaware of the other. But I agree, it would have been great to Stephen and Marc become aware of Jake in that final battle so we could see Jake in action. But I guess that will come the next time we see Moon Knight in the MCU, whether it's in a second season of this show or in another property. All in all, I had a couple of minor quibbles with this episode, but overall, it's my favorite finale of all the MCU shows so far, with Hawkeye a close second.

My big fear is that they've set up Jake to be the most powerful of the Moon Knights so they can have just that character in things without Layla and without Steven's moral center making things complicated! I was really surprised that the scales balanced without Jake because I sensed he existed (especially with the shaking second coffin they never opened up).
