Last year I tried twice to get into this, but didn’t get through the first episode; third time is the charm. Guess we will wait to see if you want to continue, but I for sure will be picking it up if you don’t. Penelope Featherington aka Nicola Coughlan (got the drink spilt on her) is also on Derry Girls, a good show about the Troubles in Ireland circa 1990’s, well worth a watch. (She also had an excellent episode of celebrating Bake Off) Hope you watch this, I’ll be there if you do

Anthony bridgerton (the eldest) is season 2. Better than season 1. It goes into his character and past a lot more.

Aaaaabsolutely love this series, watched it twice, firstly with my mum and then with the BF... the use of modern music with a classical twist is one of my fav things in this. I'm sure Seb, you'll love it too. :P

This isn't my cup of tea usually, but this show had just enough smut and enough nearly naked Rege-Jean Page that it cancels out the nauseating sexism. I actually enjoyed it. People crapped on this show when it first came out for oddest reason: lack of historical accuracy. This show was never meant to be a documentary. Shonda Rhimes (producer) loves her drama, so naturally she made it a bit 'extra.' Also, Anthony (oldest brother) comes off as an absolute tool in this episode, but if I remember correctly, his character improves as the season goes on.

Love Bridgerton! It's a bit cheesy, and proper, but the aye-yo (or even the potential for it) keeps it interesting. Would love to see you watch the rest of it, maybe even one every two or three weeks if your schedule is jammed. And if you really like it, you might find yourself speeding along a bit quicker.

I really hope you keep watching this! I love this show so much and it gets better! Lots more aye yo moments (can you say library ladder!) and scandal. And, unlike in the books, you find out who Lady Whistledown is at the end of the first season.
