Whew lord. Lets go. I'm already sobbing lmao. I saw this in the cinema and it took me the fuck out.

Frank

same :( i went alone cause i didn't wanna see spoilers and i was sitting next to 2 strangers and i was like KEEP IT TOGETHER!!

Frank

It was beautiful to see it in theaters because the SILENCE it was so respectful and just made it so much sadder

Loved this one. I not only thought it was a touching tribute to Chadwick Bozeman but a solid follow up to the first film. Namor is one of the best/nuanced villains (now anti-hero?) we’ve seen in while in the MCU. I loved how they developed AND differentiated his mythos from his DCEU counterpart, Aquaman. He’s definitely a major reason why I liked this film more than the first, and I can’t wait to see where he pops up next.

Jeff Cabrera

I was doing fine in this movie, as far as not crying. But at the end when they cut to silence and showed footage of Chadwick from the first film, man I felt a wave of emotion that hit me like a ton of bricks 🥺

Frank

So Riri Williams will be Ironheart and she's getting her own show, and then I'm trying to think of other questions you had but I cant remember

Austin Peterson

To be clear, he didn’t say he IS as strong as the hulk he said it was a possibility he said they didn’t KNOW how strong he was.

Jeff Cabrera

Just catching up on this reaction. A few bits of trivia: *The Talokanil only appear blue when they’re out of water. They revert back to their normal skin tone underwater, hence why they didn’t look blue during the Talokan scenes. *Lupita Nyong'o (Nakia) was actually born in Mexico, so she is fluent in Spanish. She didn’t have to learn the language for this movie.

Styx

Fun fact, Namor was the first underwater superhero to appear in the comics in both DC and Marvel. He was the inspiration for Aquaman.

SquaredSpekz

Nakia leaving 6 years ago would've been just after the Snap, just after T'Challa Sr got dusted. She leaves with their son.

Angela Bassett 👏🏻 This was a good movie, the plot just dragged on too much for me. It was really nice to give the emotional moments time and not rush through them but the plot itself was much longer than it needed to be. Some sketchy CGI at the end as well…

SquaredSpekz

They turn blue when out of water, cause they can't breathe.

Nikki Sonrisa

haha yes! I'm glad someone said this; was driving me nuts that Seb was harping so hard on something for the rest of the film that was completely wrong! lol

Nikki Sonrisa

they didn't just give out the heart-shaped herb to everyone because of tradition. there is only ever one black panther at a time. if they just gave it to everyone then that would take away what makes the black panther special.

Calidreamboy

They wont kill Namor cause he's an Avenger lol he's not a villian Seb he's more of an antihero. Also Shuri forgave Namor because in the end she's more noble like her brother who forgave Zemo for killing their father than she is like Killmonger who just wanted revenge for the death of his father. On top of that if T'Challa could forgive Zemo without knowing anything about him its understandable then that Shuri can definitely forgive Namor especially after getting to know him on an extremely personal level, and realizing that they have many similarities including the motivation to do anything to protect their people.

xander

Angela Bassett absolutely deserved that Golden Globe, she was incredible!! and i hope she gets that Oscar too... also i'm pretty sure the heart-shaped herb has some sort of a bloodline lock on it, since the only Black Panthers in history have been in T'Challa's bloodline. even Killmonger, since he's their cousin

xander

oh i completely forgot, but Letitia Wright (actress of Shuri) said when Shuri and T'Challa were younger they both got the same training. so Shuri does know hand-to-hand combat, just not on the same level as T'Challa did. she also said that Black Panther 3 is in the works, but she wants to take a break from being Shuri, so i assume they're just in the writing process. and as for Okoye and M'Baku, they are both lead characters in a Disney+ show in 2025, set in Wakanda. as for Ross (Martin), he will be in the show "Secret Invasion" with Nick Fury and Maria Hill later this year. and finally, as for Riri, she has her own show "Ironheart" coming out at the end of this year!

Dustin

Namor definitely isn't as strong as the hulk. And the Black Panther is strong too, they were enemies in the comics as well.

Capt Hangry

The Midnight Angel suits that Okoye and Aneka are 100% accurate to the comics. They look a little goofy but the Midnight Angels are badass, basically super assassin / warriors for Wakanda. I think we’ll see more of them if the Wakanda / Okoye series happens. Namor only does things that benefit him or his people. He is an anti-hero in the comics. He has some kind of plan or he wouldn’t have agreed to the truce. In the last shot of him you can see that the mural he’s been painting is a feathered serpent fighting a panther

Rejon

Landlocked country on a freshwater lake...send those saltwater whale-buses up the river, it'll be fine

mr felix williams

yeah holy shit.. i really struggled to watch this movie, piss poor from start to end. Low-key feel ripped out of the 15 bucks for disney plus xD edit: of course, besides the hardcore tugging at the heart strings... hard not to at the very least respect
