This movie was a complete surprise for me, and it's become a film that whenever channel surfing and it's on, I watch it. It's just plain fun. And Seb, yes, the character development is what makes it so great. The sequels, while a bit predictable, are still a great diversion. They'll never top the original, but they have their own great moments. Enjoyed your reaction!

the ending is a lot better if you’ve seen the breakfast club imo. breakfast club is a really good film about change and acceptance which loosely resembles the bellas journey during the film. the first time becca watch’s tbc with jesse she isn’t really interested, then when she watches it alone and can actually relate to it, she cries. it’s such a beautiful film with one of the best songs ever created, don’t you (forget about me) by simple minds

yeh the end is related to the movie breakfast club that they keep referencing throughout this film, also since you haven’t seen breakfast club you should defo give it a watch! it’s an iconic movie that really represents the time it came out
