Announcement… (Patreon)

Dear patrons of my Patreon Channel. 

First and foremost a thank you for your support of my work on this channel. It truly means everything to me. 

Patreon has been forced to change how to invoice the access to my work. This is caused by a lawsuit brought by Apple. It is a demand from Apple towards Patreon being on their Platform on the Apple devices. 

In the future you will be forced to select paying for the subscription in the amounts of at least 25€’s or more a month. 

I am adjusting all the prices of the tiers. The current prices are set by Patreon who used a multiplier system in order to help with the transfer from a per-creation account to a subscription account.

As I am currently in Japan and on vacation I am relying on various levels of internet and not always a constant access to the same.

I have been assured by Patreon that no patron will be charged more than they have already set in their personal settings that they are willing to sponsor with.

I hope that you will continue to support my work and will make a monthly subscription.

There is also a thing that needs to be said. 

If you’re setting up your payment through an Apple device (ApplePay more specifically) Apple will make a charge of 30% to all new Patrons. 

However, this is easily avoided, if you subscribe through a windows device or select an alternate payment method. 

Patreon has some guidelines on how to do so on their help page. 

This has been forced, and is now part of the new reality.
