Now just to clarify.
Tessa and Ron are not related by blood, as she is the wife of Ron’s fathers brother. Tessa is married into the family. Ron’s uncle is sadly dead, he was actually a lot older than Ron‘s father. He married a much younger woman who inherited all his money. But Tessa loved Ron when he was a kid, and still loves him now.

She and Ron‘s mom are not the best of friends but they tolerate each other fine. Ron loves his auntie Tessa and he always have. As we now know in the comic, she is the source of his fondness of blondes.
