i’ve been thinking a lot about semiotics in art, especially pragmatics. like, what is the barest element needed to contextualize a form, an object/character, a sense of sequentialism, dimension, a sense of composition, emotion, and how can those contexts and senses be misguided or intentionally deceived. i would like to do this with text/language more too, but that will come later. this study uses my body for the reclining figure on the right. i wanted to see what elements were necessary to have the subjects listed, it was a very interesting process. digital art was useful for this, as it allowed me to add and remove elements very quickly and easily.

sorry for all the text, thank you for reading and i hope you enjoy this piece ^~^

This feels kind of Picasso in feel, like the multiple angels of view and shapes. It's real cool
