i have read this fight many many times and realised that the sins are commited by ulq in each corresponding chapter. these sins are sometimes so suttle that they are only expressed by what ulq puts emphasize on. after all if he truly didnt have a heart there would be no reason to even talk. in sloth he states that ichigos head would be rolling after just one strike. this could be a sign of simply not giving it his all.
