Two weeks ago! I forgot to make this announcement here! I'm kinda bad at this >_>

Anyway, as always it's a big help if you can pick up a copy, read it on Kindle Unlimited, and/or drop a review at your leisure. Most of you here are already supporting me directly in the best way possible, so really this is just a little something extra for if you really want to go the extra mile (or just want to decorate your shelves).

This release was synced up with the audio release for volume 6, so you can go get that too if you prefer to listen. As usual, Cindy did a great job on it. You can get it on audible here.

Bit of a random question, but now that the series is over have you ever considered doing collectors stuff for it? If nothing else, one thing I’d be super interested in is a full set of tarot cards (both major and minor arcana) with art of each of the character on them. Yue as The Moon, Yoshika’s gestalt form as The Emperor (yes, she’s the empress but the actual card role is sort of different), Jia and Eui as The Lovers, that kind of thing. Not sure how possible it’d be, but I love to collect decks for different series and fantasy themed ones in general so I’d absolutely love a set for Fate’s Parallel. (BtDEM, BoC and a few others too, but I figured I’d ask here since the series just ended.) Other collectible things like minis could be fun too, but I just thought it was worth asking if you’ve ever considered it. I’ve totally gotta get a full set of signed books in hardcover at some point if you do that too (I saw the link in this post but I’m waiting to check it until I have actual money so I don’t impulse buy). 😅

Merch would be interesting, but at the moment I don't think I can really afford to produce it. For the time being, my audience is quite small, and while I adore this community, at present I'd be making things at a loss. The only reason I can do physical books at all is because Amazon does print on demand, and even then the sale of a hardcover book earns me the same or less as a digital copy for 4-5x the price to buyers. I'm definitely interested, but it's not economically feasible for me at the moment. I'm able to make a living from writing thanks to the support of you and the rest of the community, but it's a pretty modest living.

Perfectly understandable, though admittedly a little sad. Hmm, maybe some digital stuff would be viable? I’m not exactly knowledgeable on how much art commissions cost, but even if it was just the art and we had to figure out the printing ourselves, I’d still be interested in designs for posters, tarot cards (yes, I’m very pointedly obsessed with collecting those) or minis. Not sure if even that’s within a viable budget for you, still, even if I had to work out how to get digital designs into a physical set, I’d be interested. No worries if it’s still not practical, but if it’s possible that’s still something I’d be happy to pay for. Oh, I should ask, do you do signed copies of the hardcovers or just the normal ones? It’d be a while before I’ve got spare budget again but I’m definitely interested if it’s a thing.

I'm busy reading my way through the story, and I have to ask Why is Lee Jia not even mentioned in the blurb for this book?

She still plays a prominent role in the story, of course, but this specific volume focuses mainly on Kaede and Eui, as I liked the way their arcs contrasted with each other.
