I'm back this week with another small map: the Tiny Clearing (16x11), sized to fit across two pieces of printer paper. This one follows the style of all those Haunted Forest maps I made throughout the back half of 2023 and the first half of 2024—a small, misty patch of forest with a fallen log to find cover behind. As an added bonus, since the terrain is a bit simpler than usual, I also made an alternate version of this map with a path winding through the clearing.

Also, I think I might be done making tiny maps for now. I might make one more tiny dungeon—but no promises. Either way, the size restriction is starting to feel a bit too limiting, so I'm shifting focus back to some bigger maps. Most likely, I’ll return to urban maps, since I think there’s still some meat on that bone, but I haven't come up with any urban locations to develop further yet so no promises.

What about war torn battlefield locations? You've done a few razed locations, maybe a battlefield clearing with some improvised fortifications & such?

Perfect little ambush setting. Thanks for the 16x11. I love printing these out on custom paper. For urban settings, some underdark cities like Menzobarranzan would be great. I know you have quite a bit of underdark stuff already, but I’d love to see more cities.

Love this map, especially the version with the path. So much detail on such a small scale is what makes your maps stand out. As a suggestion for urban, I’m still hoping to see a map made by you of a library or monastery one day.
