Rocky Coast, Expert (Patreon)

Hello once again, Expert and Master patrons- this is the Rocky Coast (25x30), a bit basic perhaps but I think the layout is one of my best, it's clean, simple, and effective. I'm trying to use more actual photography as reference these days, in comparison to the half-remembered video game locations that I usually base my maps on by vibe alone, so maybe you'll see my maps start to feel more realistic in the coming months, who can say?

Your alternate versions of this map are Rainy and Autumn! The Rainy version felt like a natural choice, and a little more useful than a foggy variant since I figured this Rainy one could fill the same role in a pinch. As for the Autumn one, it's been a little while since I've tried my hand at a nice autumnal palette and I thought I could give it another go. I based it on the Autumn variant of the Twisting Path, with some small adjustments to balance the colors against the water's palette, but I'm left feeling like I could work on it a little more. Maybe some more autumnal maps are in my future, at least while Autumn still lingers? We'll see!
