Desert Canyons (Patreon)

Hello again, everyone! This week's map is the Desert Canyons (35x40), a map in which I confronted my fear of drawing many-tiered platforms for your enjoyment. I have long avoided maps like this because I'm afraid that the various levels won't read well to anyone but me, but I think I was due to give it a try and hope for the best. So, what do you think?

Beyond that, I'm continuing to make fun desert maps for a little while as I try some things out. I'm honing in on how much plant life I can add to these maps, and as you might notice I'm rapidly discovering that you can actually add quite a few without diminishing the arid vibe of a desert. I'm going to ride this out for a few more weeks, so hopefully you're as excited about this series of maps as I am!
