That's right- the long, long awaited Poll #12! Let's get right into it. The way this goes is, you may vote for as many maps as you'd like, meaning you can chose each idea that appeals to you. Then, when the poll is over, I'll have a good idea of which of these map concepts have the most interest among all of my Patrons so I'll take the maps with the most votes and start making them- it's that easy!

And, as always, please leave a suggestion in the comments once you've voted! When the next poll comes around I'll look in these comments first before adding suggestions from elsewhere. Or, at the very least, like a comment below so I know it has interest.

I always love to see ancient cave ruins, like caves that eventually connect to some old dwarven ruins going from rough cave entrance to cut and polished walls.

Andrew Montgomery

My only request would be to have larger maps, i.e. maps that are larger than a 40x40 grid. I have a player with an archer character in one campaign who likes to sit at a 150 feet range which is 30 squares. Consequently he's normally off the side of a 40x40 grid map and it would therefore be great for me if the maps were a little larger. Something like 60x60 would be perfect.

Niels van der Last

I second @Andrew Montgomery's comment. As an idea, it would be really nice if we could get maps that connect some of your older maps to fit them together into a larger map. For example, have the new Blacksmith Forge map (if it is in a village setting) connect to the Village Hall in the north, the Forest Village to the east, the Village Creek to the west, and the Village Gates to the south. That way, we can decide whether to use it as part of a larger map... or just use it as standalone. Or more dungeons like your Flooded Dungeon, Ancient Catacombs, and Crumbled Facility maps, which I all love

Brandon A Blackwood

A nice Council chamber or Royal Room of some sort would be nice. You have a lot of Royal looking indoor spaces but they all have either a derelict or Evil theme to them. It would be nice to see something a bit more benevolent

James M

Definitely bigger maps or maps we could tile together as @Niels van der Last suggested. Another idea for a location that might be cool is an artificer / astral ship workshop

Jan Zaleski

Running Greek-inspired adventure, greek-looking overgrown ruins/temples would be great!. Really liked your hilltop temple map.

The one thing I could always do with more of is caves. Places monsters could lair. I think two of my favourite maps of yours are the green dragon lair and the goblin lair. Forest caves, mountain caves, glacial caves, underwater caves! Maybe even a little series of chromatic dragon lairs! Also, an underwater shipwreck would be ace.

Shameful

Missed opportunity to name the Glacial Lair "Glacial Fortress". You've got Misty Rainforest and Overgrown Tomb on the list, after all. Actually a series based entirely on Magic: the Gathering land names could be fun, now that I think of it

Emelie

Mountain and city terrain would be really nice. Common buildings you might find, and maybe some temple within the city? The ruins are always beautiful though.

Elizabeth

I have to agree with the other comments about making the maps fitting together. Think Gaming Paper brand maps. Bonus if they fid together a few different ways

IntrepidTerrain

Some variety of Underdark alternative maps perhaps? Like, could a mountain shrine also become an underground Kuo-Toa shrine or something like that...

Travis Mitchell

Easy Asian- or Islamic- or West African-inspired dwellings (playing Conan, which has a lot of real-world stand-ins)

JF Cast

How about an abandoned fortress? Or multiple maps of a big castle?

Sleepnir

Great options galore!

Momo

There's so many options! Maybe do a runoff pole where we can vote on the top 3-5 of this pole?

Bernat

The Overgrown Tomb would be a nice new and fresh addition to the map selection ^^ Thanks for the hard work!

JunderlandGames

I would really like to see you just look at magic the gathering lands and just draw them based on their name. Like overgrown tomb and misty rainforest are already lands lol

Ben_is_Superman 1

Surprised to see so many votes for the mysterious ruins. Feel like you already have loads of ruins maps! If you look at your current back catalogue of maps by biome, mountains are relatively under represented . So anything mountainous gets my vote.

Doug Peterman

I can always use a river crossing - with bridge or without - that has changed in elevation to it. My parties love looking at a map and trying to figure out how to use the terrain to their advantage. There are tons of bridge maps out there with flat land around a bridge - - boring!

Doug Peterman

In the same vein, a castle drawbridge with a creepy moat or an insanely deep chasm under it would be great - maybe part of the courtyard idea?

Max Porter

I'm always searching for more "plains" wilderness maps, as these are hard to find at the NP level of quality!

Max Porter

More interesting Inns like your roadside inn would be fantastic!
