Major update on my galleries (Patreon)
Content
Some of you probably already noticed it: I started to update my galleries. Instead of hosting my pictures directly on Patreon, I use an external, password protected galleries.
I really love Patreon and all the options, this platform offers for creators like me. But hosting my content on Patreon galleries has always been a pain in the ass. Uploads often fail. Images often have to be uploaded one by one, and loading times when viewing images are painfully slow. But most of all, Patreon galleries are really badly protected agains piracy.
I love my community here, and I am happy and grateful for the support I receive from you. That's why it annoys me immensely when my content is made available on such pages.
What annoys me most is that the models I work with are being exposed to an audience for which they were never intended. Basically all my models work with complete passion and trust me to handle our images conscientiously. Knowing that my photos in Patreon galleries are not really secure, I have lost the motivation to edit and publish sets frequently in recent weeks and months.
External password protected galleries
Instead of hosting my pictures directly on Patreon I invested some time and money to host them on external servers. This way, the images and my models are much better protected.
From now on, in each post you'll find a preview of the set, a button with link to the gallery and the password which grants you access.
All you need to do is to copy the password, click the button and paste the password for access the gallery. I know, this means an extra step for you because now you need to copy and paste the password before you can enjoy the pictures. But you'll be rewarded with a way faster, user friendly gallery. And you can be sure, that the pictures you paid seeing for are finally protected.
I started to update my latest galleries and by time the older galleries will follow.
No button? Reinstall your Patreon app
In case you don't see the link-button in your app: Please delete and reinstall your app. In older versions of the Patreon app this button might not be visible.
Well, I hope you appreciate this way of protecting my models and my content and you don't mind the extra step, that you have to take from now on. It's actually very simple and convenient, both in the browser and in the app. It tested it myself before switching.
In any case, my motivation for Patreon has returned, and I look forward to releasing many new sets for you.
Cheers,
Sacha
Update: In case the password doesn't work, please check if you have activated automatic translation in your browser. It might change the password.
