.

so this is a weird post, ranting ahead!

After I came back home I was drawing and having fun then drew this. The first thing that came to my mind was "Oh man, this is going to take a while" . It felt weird to me. Because It's not about me not enjoying drawing but me wanting to pump out some quick drawings so I can call it a task complete. I know this because I can pump hours and hours into something, not eating or caring about other things if it's something I enjoy. I did this with blender when I was away last week and it is also why I draw sexy ladies >:)

The point is, I want to finish this piece in an enjoyable way but I'm afraid of being judged. I think that's why I spend multiple hours straight on the things I never share and less on stuff I have to do. I think in this drawing I felt like that because I missed the deadline.

I guess I just want to get out of that fear and draw without pressure.

But I know it's a balance. My goal is not to become that guy who never finishes a drawing and take ages to do something. I just want to have fun doing things I love and share them ^^

So this week, I'll be working on this and try my best to finish. I have some other work lined up this week, but I want this to be the drawing I go to have fun :)

This looks great! but I don't think you should be afraid of being judged if you want to spend extra time working on a piece or if you want to draw a new idea you came up with and you have to put the art you're currently working on hold for a bit. I do really love the art you make so I would rather you draw the way you'd like vs feeling pressure from it :D

Thanks! Very kind words to hear ^^ Even though I know almost every person is supportive it's super hard to convince myself that's the case. I'm trying my best not to think like that because I feel like it's hurting the quality of my drawings too.
