A Story Tier Prompt for Scoobert

In a future corporate dystopia, the cyberpunk antihero Benji survives by evading the law and keeping ahead of the corpo-industrial complex, taking merc jobs as they come with his trustworthy crew. But when their most profitable infiltration yet requires one of them to become an attractive woman, it’s time to get the bodymods on and become . . . Bonnie Billions!

Bonnie Billions, Part 7

The garbage shuttle was not far away. Nygard and Leon had caught Bonnie’s message and shifted their rendezvous to a new zone. Wintermaner was running interference across the Needle’s comms, sending mercs and PMC grunts in every direction but Bonnie’s. Only thing was, a few had already caught her lovely scent and were chasing her even lovelier ass as she emerged out from the pipelines of the Needle and into a market mall extravaganza overloaded with holo marketing stalls and flash-addict advertising.

“Yeah, fuck this shit,” Bonnie declared, making a break for it. The shuttle bay was on the third floor, but all the lifts were on lockdown. “Neon Street is better than this.”

“It is rather gauche,” Winter admitted in her ear, the superintelligent AI guided the woman every step of the way through her glasses. “Two enemies on your four.”

“Cheers,” Bonnie said. She went down on her knee, pivoted, and fired twice, sending two mercs flying off the parallel staircase beside her. Some people screamed and ran, but most had already evacuated; the entire Needle was on high alert thanks to Ren Takana-Mayson activating everything he had.

“On your six.”

Bonnie turned again, shifting back to avoid a shot and then dispatching the next grunt. The woman smirked, realising that the zipper at the front of her tactsuit had gone down quite a margin, exposing a great deal of cleavage courtesy of her plump and perfect breasts. “I bet I look so fucking hot right now.”

“I can confirm that your attractive rating is in excess of 100 percent, Bonnie.”

“That doesn’t even fly logic, Winter.”

“I can have a sense of humour, you know. Do you plan to stay a woman?” “Well, I look and feel fucking flash as a hot Euro-Nippon baddie, so I reckon I’ll keep running the program as is. Provided I don’t get turned into ash any moment.”

“Keep moving, then. I can’t stop them blocking our own communications anymore, but I’m tapped into the Needle’s sensors. Nygard and Leon are in the process of landing, but another ship has been activated and appears to be following them.”

“Deimos. That rat bastard.”

“You must be quick.”

Bonnie raced ahead. The Needle was hauntingly empty now. Mercs were finally regrouping and realising that their comms were unreliable, but for now the former man had a clean break. She grinned wildly as she raced to the third floor of the spiralling needle, approaching the shuttle bay that would run a tunnel all the way to the exterior of the spinning space tube that was this ruling class station. This was how she lived. This was what she lived for. Dancing on the edge of that blade with defiance in her heart, and all the better because she’d found a lovely female body to enjoy it in. She even let her hair out loose, allowing it to spill out behind her as she ran, all for the joy of it.

Yeah, she was definitely staying female. And after this scheme, provided she didn’t die, she was going to rent a bunch of hot guy-whores and fuck it out for a week just to get the joyous jitters out of her programming. Once she had her goddamn sensory dependence fixed.

“Hey, that reminds me, can you fix what Deimos did to me? He’s kinda fucked us all over to work for him and the ole US of A. Real rah rah America bullshit if you ask me.”

“Nation-states do seem like an outdated concept to me. Yes, it would not be difficult to synthesise a solution. He has an embedded explosive in your spine-”

“Fuck this guy, seriously.”

“-but I have remotely disabled it and it has a magenta-level cyberlock upon it. I chose magenta as the colour because it is my favourite.”

“Look at you, all personality. Hell yeah, there’s the shuttle bay. Good thing too, running too fast with these big boobs can take a lot out of a girl. Might get a slight reduction. Maybe. Probably not. They’re pretty flash.”

She began the final stretch, running through holo ads each addressing her by her fake name. Far ahead, a shuttle was flying up through the tunnel, having come from outside the Needle, and it wasn’t even landing; just hovering and ready to go at a moment’s notice.

“Bonnie, do you really plan on blowing up the Needle?”

“Up to you, Winter,” Bonnie admitted. “You’re the one who cracked the reactor codes for me. You can run it into overload and send this whole place to hell, or you can leave it as a floating heavenly palace with all the wonderful Godly vices: war profiteering, enforced starvation, oppression and trafficking, and gambling with the lives of folks below being at the top of them. I leave it to you.”

“Hmm. Your personality appears to be rubbing off on my code, because I see so many horrors in this place, many of them by Ren Takana-Mayson, but many more by others of his ilk. I would . . . I would like to blow it all up. Shall I kill everyone else on board?”

Bonnie considered this. “Eh, give them a headstart on evac. It’ll be a nice smokescreen for us.”

“Clever. What about Ren?”

Bonnie was about to give a much more satisfying reply when suddenly the ads around her shifted and crackled, tuned briefly to a dead channel before resetting to display Ren’s furious face. He’d already been prepped with a cyborg-eye, the kind that was a real pristine graftjob, none of that backalley plug-job vibe. His calm demeanour was gone, and a vein in his temple was throbbing.

“Give Wintermancer back to me, now. If you persist, Benjamin, I will not just have you killed, I will have my best gene-techs bring you back, just so I can kill you again and again and again, and the same for your friends. This is my world, don’t you understand? You entered my world, and believed you could take something that is mine. Wintermancer belongs to me. Return it safely, and you can live in poverty but with your life, as a streetrat like you deserves. You can crawl away into a hole somewhere and trust that I will no longer care about you enough to look.”

Bonnie posed with one hand on her hip, the other teasing the zipper of her costume as she presented him with the suggestive shape of her breasts. “Hmmm . . . tempting, Rennie-boy, but I think not. Wintermancer doesn’t belong to anyone, but I think she’s having too much fun as my big sister.”

“What!?”

“It’s true!” a female voice echoed across the comms. “I think Bonnie is staying a woman. Percentage estimate is at eighty-six percent likelihood. We shall style our hair together. Perhaps pigtails?”

“Raincheck on that,” Bonnie said. “Point is, Ren, your prize is free, and she’s not going back to you or the US government.”

“You - you would make an enemy of two worlds!?”

“Eh, just one. I can handle the US Remnant. You? Well, I’d start prepping a shuttle right now. I’m blowing this joint. Thanks for the good memories, Ren. You had a really good dick. Too bad the rest of you was a corpo-sized dick. Emphasis on was.”

The man’s eyes were ablaze with fury. Klaxons were blaring. He shouted in Sino to a servant offscreen to prep his shuttle, then turned his gaze back upon Bonnie. “Kill her,” he said.

Bonnie realised too late that he had been stalling, and that she had been having too much fun lording her gorgeous body in front of him, teasing him with how easily she had fooled him with it. Now, two mercs emerged from behind her, darting out from their hiding spots. Winter hadn’t caught them.

“They must have had a shadow map of areas without cameras!” she cried. “Bonnie, I don’t see how-”

The men raised their guns, and Bonnie knew she was had. Her own pistol was out; she’d taken it from a merc who’d already fired too many shots. The busty beauty wished she had a smoke just to look real damn slick while she was blown apart, but suddenly one mook’s head exploded, followed by the other.

“The fuck!?”

She turned, only to see that Leon had leapt down from the shuttle, and the enormous Polynesian man was hefting a veritable cannon in one hand, his inferior prosthesis helping hold its burden.

“Looking good, Bonnie!” he called. “But maybe do your modelling shoot after we get out of here, huh?”

Bonnie’s large chest heaved with her exhaling. “You saved my ass, Leon!” she called, running to him and letting him hoist her up into the still-floating shuttle. She didn’t even mind when his large hand - the organic one - cupped her peachy butt to push her up.

“And what an ass it is!” he proclaimed.

“Damn fucking straight! We gotta get out of here!”

She helped pull Leon into the shuttle, cursing his weight. The hatch started to close, but Ren’s face was still looking at her from every screen outside.

“You can’t escape!” he roared. “I own everything! I’ll chase you to the ends of the Earth, Bonnie!”

The woman cackled. “Good luck finding a shuttle back to Earth, Ren,” she said, as the hatch closed. The man’s face had just enough time to show a moment of severe concern before he was out of sight.

“Tee-hee!” Winter giggled. “He’s going to have a real panic once he realises I’ve had every one of his shuttles already evacuated without him. His servants can enjoy some canapes while Rennie explodes!”

“Loving the sociopathy, Winter.”

“Oh, I’m much less dark than you, little sister. But that man held me captive. I’m going to record every nanosecond of his last moments for replay.”

“Sweet, I’ll splice it into a porno and then we can both get off on-”

Nygard turned and shrieked from the cockpit, the nasally-voiced Brit speeding them out of the tunnel and into the black of space.

“I don’t know who the hell you’re talking to, Bonnie, but this is serious! The whole Needle is evaccing and Deimos is about to be on our tail the moment we’re in space. Just what the hell did you do!?”

Leon shrugged. “Yeah, I’m still waiting on an explanation too, Bonnie.”

The woman slapped her head and got into a seat beside Nygard, Leon taking his position behind him. “Short version? Raided Ren’s vault and took his superintelligence AI named Wintermaner - Winter, she likes to be called. She’s living in my glasses right now and we’re blowing up the whole Needle in order to escape. She also deactivated the bombs in each of our spines, the ones none of us knew were there.”

Nygard blinked. “WHAT!?”

“Just pilot this damn thing, Nygard!” They shot out the side of the Needle, right into the black of space. They were just one among dozens upon dozens of ships, soon to be hundreds. They were spilling forth from the towering monument to corruption and greed that was their home, and Bonnie hoped each of them burnt up in orbit.

“Many have children. Servants. Indentured servants. Even what you might call slaves.”

“Fuck. You’re right. How did you know what I was thinking?”

“Big sisters always do.”

Bonnie grinned. She rather liked this whole sister thing. Could go disastrously, of course, but what didn’t in life? Speaking of . . .

“Where’s Deimos?” she asked.

Nygard was checking the instruments. Leon was prepping something in the back of the shuttle. It was a lumbering thing, a rustbucket barely holding together given that it was just a trash receptacle. Suddenly, a red dot appeared on their instruments, and as their ship pivoted towards Earth, it became obvious that something was chasing them.

“That’s him,” Nygard said, his voice high and reedy with panic.

“I thought you’d lost him,” Bonnie barked.

“And I thought this was just a simple heist job, and that we weren’t committing an act of mass terrorism!”

“Fuck that, this is the good kind of terrorism. It’s got style. Flash. Besides, Deimos should be happy.”

He was anything but. A missile exploded off the side of the hull, and alerts sounded through the ship. Nygard screeched. “He’s demanding we open a comm line.”

“Do it. It’ll let us stall, at least.”

The line crackled, and then Deimos spoke in his gravelly tone. “My terms were clear. You raid the vault. You get the item. You provide it to the US government. You get paid, and have your positions restored to their previous specs. I am giving you one chance to turn that chip over. The US government will not allow it to fall into the hands of the corporation. The Remnant has plans for it. We will rise again. Do you understand?”

Nygard swallowed. Leon shrugged. “He’s got weapons on that hauler,” he said. “Modified skiff, by the looks of it. Reckon he could blow us out of the sky, Bonnie.”

“I’d rather not go all government,” Winter said, her voice now broadcasting inside of the ship for the rest to hear. “I hate wearing ties. Not that I can wear ties, but the idea of having to change my avatar to wear one? Besides, I don’t like what they’re trying to do in the South America Free Zone. I might put a little stop to that when we land.”

Bonnie sucked air through her teeth. She really needed to put a muzzle on Winter. Deimos was hearing all of this and it wasn’t sounding good to that all-American psycho.

“Deimos,” she said. “That was my good friend Winter. We got a new plan; neither the US Remnant nor the corpos get her. She wants to freelance with me and my boys, at least for now. We need more estrogen on the team anyway. So, uh, don’t go firing on us if you want that chip.”

“I have orders to destroy it if I can’t get it. I can intercept your flight trajectory, and your spines are all surgically fitted with miniature bombs. The chip won’t be harmed. Make this easier, Benji.”

“I keep telling you, I’m Bonnie. Leon, fly us into the ritziest crowd of shuttles you can! I want some meatshields I don’t have to feel too guilty about!”

“The gold Stable shuttles are staffed exclusively with the Brazner Corporation upper management,” Winter added. “I’d recommend them. They have so much blood on their hands!”

Leon didn’t have to be told twice. He ejected some trash as a screen and then flew into the field of evacuating ships, all of them bound for Earth to escape the explosion of debris that was coming. Deimos was following, and it was clear that after a brief stall he knew that the spinal bombs weren’t working. The comm connection was severed now; nothing more needed to be said. He fired another missile and Nygard careened their ship around a Brazner Sable-shuttle, causing it to blow up instead of them.

“We just killed Hugh Brazner along with his wife Mazel Brazner.”

“Weren’t they the ones who flooded surface markets with that painkiller?” Leon asked.

“Yes. Seventy-four thousand died in the second month.”

To everyone’s surprise, Nygard screeched with laughter. “My uncle was killed by those wankers! Enjoy hell, corpos!”

The man began to giggle maniacally, even as he dodged two more missiles and two more Sable shuttles ignited, one venting atmosphere rather explosively.

“Your friend appears to be psychologically impaired all of a sudden.” “Yeah, that’s Nygard alright. Leon how much more trash have we got?”

“Only one more haul!” the man yelled. “And frankly, we’re running out of meatshields, Bonnie. Not too sure we can keep a moral high ground on this. Or even a mid-ground.”

The woman winced. He wasn’t wrong. “Winter, can we compute a trajectory for some trash to take out Deimos’ ship?”

“Negative. Less than five percent chance, as funny as it would be!”

“What about when the Needle explodes? He’ll shift his ship in response, right?”

“Hmm . . . yes. But we need to act quickly and get a load ready! Nygard, honey, follow this trajectory!”

Bonnie got out of her seat and immediately began helping Leon prep the trash cubes into the dispensers. “Wish this female bod had a bit more strength!” she complained, lifting one with him. “Maybe I’ll m-make myself buffer next time.”

“My kinda gal,” Leon said with a wink.

“In your holo-fantasies, maybe.”

Together, they lifted the trash in and shut the hatch. An alert read that a missile was being prepped against them. They had only seconds. Less.

“NOW!” Winter cried across their comms.

Bonnie hit the release button at the same time as the Needle exploded. Every ship in the entire evacuating fleet shifted their protective screens and altered their flight patterns. Bonnie darted to the front of the hauler, gripping the radar screen. The blue dot that was their trash was going wide of the red dot that was Deimos, but he pivoted his ship to avoid the blast and get clear of other panicking ships. And then -

The red dot disappeared.

“FUCK YEAH!” Bonnie screamed, jumping into Leon’s arms and hugging him. “ABSOLUTE GODDAMN FLASH!”

“We survived?” Nygard gasped, even as Bonnie kissed Leon on the lips and started to make out with him in celebration. “We survived! Wait, what are you two doing? This is - this is unsanitary!”

Bonnie chuckled and broke off from Leon. “I don’t know about that. Winter, give us the stats.”

“Seventy-three percent chance of major venereal infection from surrounding bacteria.”

The gorgeous woman immediately pulled up her zipper and bit her lip.

“Okay, uh. Well . . . let’s celebrate Earth-side, then. How’s that sound, Winter?”

“It sounds like a holiday! It’s good to be free!”

“Ain’t that damn right.”

***

Three months later, and Bonnie Billions still wasn’t sick of her new body or her new status quo. That morning, she’d had her fun spending creds at the Ocean Pleasure Resort getting a massage, and then having a whole lot of sex with a pair of gamblers - male and female - who were in an open relationship. Very open, as she discovered, and more than happy to have her both at once between them, worshipping her perfect form. She might have cried with joy if her implant-glasses hadn’t dealt with those annoying little tear ducts. As it was, the sensitivity of her body, the pleasure of her large breasts, and the fun of wearing a rather showy bikini at a ritzy resort was just too good to resist. Benji had possessed style, sure, but Bonnie was all flash and heat, and she could turn an eye quicker than even a thirty-two megabyte stick of hot RAM. Certainly, she’d taken a lot of advantage of that, and Winter had been along for the ride every step of the way. She’d enjoyed having an ‘education’ on human relations up close, and Bonnie had even gotten new pleasure-circuit implants so that her AI rider could experience the buzzing joys of sex along with her.

Hell, the pair had even experimented in the holo, the world of cyberspace opening up so that she could make love with the pale-skinned beauty with her long purple hair (though she changed her style often enough anyway). They were still sisters, of course, but now more in a ‘sisterhood’ kinda way. The kind that lets one have a lot of hot lesbian sex while also using their now-shared body to fuck a gorgeous looking man in tight swimming trunks.

Of course, Leon and Nygard were also living it up. The trio was split up for now while the heat from their actions died down. Nygard was likely holed up in a basement somewhere, implementing all the new hacking technology that Winter had tipped him off to, and Leon was setting up New Maui. A ‘mysterious’ new funding initiative from the seized bank accounts of numerous Needle corpo execs was paying for the creation of a new island to help host his diaspora. Winter claimed she had no idea where it was coming from, the cheeky AI.

Still, even as Bonnie relaxed in the sun, enjoying the fresh air and the blue sky and the way her bikini-clad body was showing off all of its curves, she found something was . . . missing. Even the cocktail of drugs from her new dopamine-injector implant, the one she’d had put in after Deimos’ work was undone, wasn’t enough to fill that hole. She looked across the fine resort, looking at the handsome men and pretty ladies, but found them lacking too. They were too straight-laced. No edge. They didn’t even run cyber, let alone even know a world of fleshweavers and skinjob grafts, of back alley black markets and neon street grifts. All flash, sure, but no substance. The danger was gone.

“Winter,” she finally said after pondering this for a while. “This has been fun, yeah? These three months in paradise.”

“Mmmmh, very fun, my Bonnie lass. And very educational.”

“Yeah, I agree. But is it getting stale? I’m feeling like we’re getting outmoded. Headed for obsolescence unless we change things up.”

“Are you going back to being male?”

Bonnie smirked and gestured to her busty bod. “Are your drives fragged? Look at me! No way am I turning away from being a busty Nippon beauty. But . . .”

“This is too safe?”

“Yeah, that’s what I’m feeling.”

“You need risk. I need risk. Something fun.”

“Exactly,” Bonnie said. She rose, and smirked at the men who were checking her out. Bad timing, boys. The shop was finally closed. “What do you say we get the band back together? Take a trip to Neon Street, and see where the road takes us?”

Winter giggled in her ear, the very excitement of the AI now vibrating thanks to the implants beneath Bonnie’s sensitive skin.

“Sounds flash, my Bonnie lass. Absolute flash.”

“Fuck yeah.”
