So, great story, as per usual. Quick question, why make it so dang long? Did inspiration just strike you down like a bolt of lightning and refuse to let you leave the computer until it was finished?

Pretty much, lol. I wrote about a third of this in one day and was having a blast with it, so I thought I'd do something I haven't done for a while and just write an incredibly meaty story that wasn't a commission and just built off of a voted prompt. I hope the result was worth it!
