ATTENTION ROMANS!

It was brought to our attention that v28.1 has some problem so we wanted to post a quick hotfix for it! Please notice - this is the same build as v28.1, but with some fixes, improvements and most of the problems you've noticed solved. If you didn't run into problems with v28.1 you don't need to download this.

Fixed in this build (v28.2 hotfix) vs v28.1:

Fixes:

• Fixed Romius dialogue not continuing during Runaway

• Fixed an issue where ending punishment would greatly increase Love.

• Fixed incosistent undressing of slaves.

• Fixed partner message when finishing sex not being consistent with the action

• Premium Food is now Premium Food and Wine

This is the Rich ($25 version) Roman's build. It has features unlocked, a lot of in-game money and a fully special slaves that you have enough money to buy! Also.. new surprises await you in the  wilderness.

Citizens, bear in mind: Rome is still in development! There will be bugs! We are working very hard to have as little as possible, but at the end of the day, this is still a game in development, so it's nearly impossible to completely avoid them. We are always happy to hear about any problems you encounter so we can fix them ASAP for future builds. Please let us know if you find any.

Main New Things This (v2.8.1 / v28.1) Build Features:

New love/fear and economy balance, visual upgrades of hairstyles, characters, textures, and animations and more!!! Please also notice that while this is the full game, we are still improving things and we will be developing the game here as well as on Steam. Here are the biggest changes since the last build posted:

• Slave apparel customization is now available via Fausta Janus in the dungeon.

• Economy & progression rebalanced to better support training, trading, and long-term empire growth.

• Reputation now impacts quest progression, rewards, and notifications.

• Love & Fear reworked into a single opposing meter with meaningful trade-offs.

• Slave progression updated with new worth calculation, skill flow, caps, and runaway mechanics.

• Visual upgrades across hairstyles, characters, textures, and animations.

• UI improvements for clearer feedback and navigation.

• Extensive fixes across gameplay, quests, visuals, UI, and systems.

• a LOT of bug fixes.
